The Mavericks announced that the team has signed center Bernard James to a second 10-day contract.
James has scored 13 points in two games with the Mavs this season. In 78 games with the Mavericks over the last three seasons, he's averaged 2.2 points and 2.3 rebounds.
Owner Mark Cuban told Dwain Price of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram that the team will keep James for the rest of the season when his current 10-day expires.
