Each night, Eye on Basketball brings you what you need to know about the games of the NBA. From great performances to terrible clock management the report card evaluates and eviscerates the good, the bad, and the ugly from the night that was.

Danilo Gallinari Danilo Gallinari needed this one as badly as the Denver Nuggets needed this one. The Nuggets were the preseason darlings for the Western Conference, but they went into tonight with a 4-6 record. Part of that record was due to Gallo averaging 14 points on 14.6 shots and shooting just 34.4 percent from the field. He torched the Grizzlies for 26 points on 7-of-15 shooting. He also was 10-of-11 from the charity stripe and didn't turn the ball over. Its one thing to do that in an NBA game; it's quite another to do it against the Memphis frontline. 
Charlotte Bobcats After taking a night off from winning with their close loss to the Memphis Grizzlies Saturday night, the Kittens continued their growth spurt with a huge comeback at the end of their game against the Bucks. The Bucks went up 11 in the fourth quarter with 6:50 left to play. The Bobs responded by going on a 21-6 run to win by four. Ramon Sessions had nine points in that run and 23 points off the bench for the entire game. Charlotte is now 5-4, which is their best start to a season since the 2007-08 campaign. 
Stephen Curry Steph Curry stepped up on the road when his team needed a boost. From the start of the fourth quarter until the end of overtime, Curry had 20 points on 5-of-9 shooting, four assists, two steals, and played all but four seconds of the final two periods. Curry ran the high pick-and-roll in a destructive manner, just picking apart the Mavericks' defense. He finished with 31 points on 9-of-21 shooting and nine assists. 
Roy Hibbert and David West Roy Hibbert had a big bounceback game with his family in the crowd in the road game against the Wizards. He made eight of his ten shots, finished with 20 points, 12 rebounds, four blocks and three assists. He was complemented perfectly by David West who was a wrecking ball at the end of the game. He had 13 of his 30 points in the final quarter, including six big ones down the stretch. So why just a B for them? They did it against the Wizards. 
Klay Thompson Feels like the Warriors were able to withstand Klay's performance on both ends of the floor for the precious road victory. Klay has had a really tough start to the season, coming into this game shooting just 35.2 percent from the field. Well, that percentage is taking a dive. He finished 2-of-14 in this game and was torched on defense by OJ Mayo. It's probably not one of those games that stays with a young player and messes with their head, but Andris Biedrins is here to talk in case you need it, Klay.
