Pistons forward Adonis Thomas missed Tuesday's preseason opener against the Pacers with an Achilles injury, Rob Beard of the Detroit News reports.
Thomas was scheduled to receive an MRI on the injury Monday, but the severity of the ailment isn't yet known. The forward is only with the Pistons on a camp invite and has little margin for error if he hopes to come away with an opening-night roster spot.
