Here's more bad injury news for the Miami Heat: Beno Udrih will be out for the rest of the season after he has surgery on his right foot, according to The Vertical's Shams Charania. Udrih left Monday's game against the Indiana Pacers in the first half and had an MRI on Tuesday.
Normally, losing a reserve guard like Udrih wouldn't be a crushing blow. The Heat, however, have a serious problem in the backcourt. They are already without Tyler Johnson, who had shoulder surgery at the beginning of February, so Goran Dragic is their only capable point guard. If they don't make a move, then Dragic's minutes might go through the roof and Dwyane Wade might have to play backup point guard for the time being.
It's a shame that Miami traded Brian Roberts right after his first practice with the team last week. He could really help now.
