The Thunder won't have their Manu Ginobili after trading James Harden to Houston, while the Spurs won't have their Manu Ginobili, either.
Ginobili, 35, has been nursing back and foot injuries and missed the San Antonio Spurs' opener against the Hornets on Wednesday and won't play against the Thunder on Thursday.
Last season Ginobili played only 23.3 minutes a game, the lowest average since his first season with the Spurs. But a nagging back injury has been tough to shake for him and with it early, he's taking it slow.
Without Ginobili in the opener Wednesday, the Spurs primarily played Gary Neal in his place.
