The Pacers were up against the wall. Needing to reboot their team, they rested their starters vs. the Bucks, and then allowed the Bucks to tie the game with seconds remaining. But on the final possession, without their starters, Chris Copeland, former Knick, stepped up big time for Indiana.
The win combined with Miami's loss put Indiana back up over the Heat for the No. 1 seed in the East headed into Friday's showdown in Miami. So now after a night off, the Pacers get an emotional lift from their bench, and control their destiny for home court.
The playoffs begin in 10 days.
