At 6-foot-7, Kyle Korver is certainly capable of dunking a basketball. Yet as we've seen throughout his career, he's not exactly a dunking machine, preferring instead to hunt 3-pointers, which he's very good at making.
During the first half of Game 3 on Wednesday night, however, Korver decided to switch things up. As LeBron James dribbled towards him in the corner, Korver cut backdoor along the baseline, and LeBron hit him with a bounce pass.
Gathering the ball, Korver powered up off of two legs and just barely got up high enough to slam it home.
The extremely rare play was a surprise to most people, including many of his old Atlanta Hawks teammates, who couldn't believe what they had just seen.
Who knows, with Korver near the end of his career, that could be the last time we ever see him slam in an NBA game. And if it was, that's certainly a good way to go out.
