Warriors general manager Bob Myers won the NBA Executive of the Year award on Friday.
In his third year at the helm, the Warriors had the NBA's best record and are top seed in the Western Conference playoffs for the first time in 39 years.
Myers received 13 of 30 first-place votes and a total of 82 points. Cavaliers' GM David Griffin was second with eight first-place votes and 69 points.
Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer was third with four first-place votes and 36 points.
CBSSports' basketball insider Ken Berger reported that multiple executives said that votes for Budenholzer were actually votes for ousted GM Danny Ferry.
