We knew Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard had touch, but what he did on Saturday was something else. Against the Minnesota Timberwolves, he drove to the basket with big men Karl-Anthony Towns and Adreian Payne tracking him. He should have had no room to get a shot off. But he did this:
The replays really show off the extreme degree of difficulty there. He had no angle. He was falling down. He couldn't see the basket. Look at the spin he put on the ball. That should not be possible.
This was part of a 109-103 comeback win for the Blazers -- they trailed the Wolves by 17 points in the second half, but went on a huge run and dominated down the stretch.
