Williams first stint in the G League was during the 2013-14 season in which he averaged 20.5 points and 7.0 rebounds. Now 32 years old, it looks like his NBA days are over as his stat line in 2017-18 drastically decreased from his first season in the G League.

Shawne Williams: DNP-Injury Friday
Williams was held out of Friday's 103-90 loss to Austin due to an undisclosed injury.
It's rather unknown what injury prevented Williams from seeing minutes during Friday's loss, as he is a game-time decision for Iowa's game Saturday. The 32-year-old forward out of Memphis is averaging 8.2 points and 3.7 rebounds for Iowa this year.

Williams did not play Sunday due to an undisclosed injury.
Williams returned from his suspension on Feb. 23 but was held out of Sunday's loss to Fort Wayne because of an injury. It's not exactly clear what is wrong with the 32-year-old forward, as he remains day-to-day. The 6-10, Memphis product is averaging 9.0 points and 4.8 rebounds during his second season in the league.

Shawne Williams: Suspended two games
Williams has been suspended for two games for his role in a fight during Tuesday's game against the Hustle, Adam Johnson of 2 Ways and 10 Days reports.
Williams, along with four other players, have been suspended for various lengths of time as a result of the incident. He'll be able to resume playing again for Feb. 23's game against the Vipers.

Williams was waived by the Timberwolves on Saturday.
Williams spent just two days with the Timberwolves after being signed late last week. The 31-year-old hasn't taken part in a regular-season game since 2014-15, but appears to be making a comeback attempt, and he may be a player that gets looked at during the season for added depth in the frontcourt if injuries were to occur. Either way, he's not a fantasy relevant player.
