Love (back spasms) has been upgraded to probable for Wednesday's game against the Lakers.

Heat's Kevin Love: Will play Friday
Love (back) is available for Friday's game against the Raptors.
Love missed Wednesday's win over the Hornets due to back spasms, but he'll be available off the bench in this one. His return shouldn't generate a big impact in fantasy formats, however, as he's averaged a mere 12.6 minutes per game across seven outings off the bench this season.

Heat's Kevin Love: Won't play Wednesday

Heat's Kevin Love: Won't return Tuesday
Love is out for the remainder of Tuesday's game versus the Bucks due to back spasms.
Love tallied two points (0-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and one steal in seven minutes before exiting Tuesday's game. In the veteran big man's absence, Kel'el Ware is expected to serve as the Heat's primary option at center when starter Bam Adebayo is off the floor. The Heat will play the second leg of a back-to-back set Wednesday in Charlotte, and it wouldn't be surprising if Love was held out of that contest.

Heat's Kevin Love: Coming off bench Monday
Love will come off the bench in Monday's game against the 76ers, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
With Jimmy Butler (ankle) returning from a four-game absence, the Heat will opt to keep Haywood Highsmith in the starting five and move Love to the bench. The veteran big man has started in all four of his regular-season outings this year, during which he has averaged 8.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.0 assists across only 11.8 minutes per game.

Love totaled 15 points (6-8 FG, 3-4 3Pt), seven rebounds, two assists and four steals in 12 minutes during Friday's 124-111 victory over Indiana.
All 15 of Love's points Friday came in the third quarter as he helped extend the Heat's lead to as much as 22. Heat's Kevin Love: Limited minutes in season debut
Love (personal/conditioning) ended with six points (2-7 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, two assists and two steals over 13 minutes during Sunday's 95-94 victory over Minnesota.
While the 36-year-old big man drew the start in his season debut in place of Nikola Jovic, it was Jovic who saw the bigger workload in Miami's frontcourt, playing 23 minutes off the bench. Love averaged only 16.8 minutes per game for the Heat in 2023-24 during the regular season and saw even less court time in the playoffs, so it's unlikely his role will increase significantly even after he gets his legs under him.
