Heat's Kevin Love: Back in rotation Friday
Love ended with no counting stats over six minutes during Friday's 102-98 loss to the Rockets.
Love played six minutes off the bench, suiting up for the first time in the past eight games. The veteran has played a total of just seven games this calendar year, scoring 27 total points. Now in the twilight of his career, it would appear Love's days as a useful fantasy contributor are over.

Heat's Kevin Love: Coming off bench Saturday
Love is not in the Heat's starting lineup against the Bulls on Saturday.
Love will retreat to the bench Saturday due to the return of Kel'el Ware (knee). Love started in the Heat's last three games and averaged 6.0 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.0 assists over 12.7 minutes per game.

Heat's Kevin Love: Solid all-around performance
Love racked up 10 points (3-8 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal over 16 minutes during Wednesday's 112-107 loss to the Cavaliers.
Love started for a second consecutive game with Kel'el Ware (knee) out, but the veteran big man made the most of his minutes and filled the stat sheet admirably. This was the first time Love scored in double digits since Dec. 7, when he posted 11 points in a win over the Suns, and he should remain in the starting lineup as long as Ware remains out.

Heat's Kevin Love: Cracks rotation with Ware out
Love tallied two points (1-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt), nine rebounds and one assist in 12 minutes off the bench in Monday's 106-90 win over the Wizards.
After stepping away from the team shortly before the All-Star break, Love returned from personal leave in the middle of last week, but he didn't appear in any of the Heat's ensuing three games leading up to Monday. Even when available this season, Love has typically found himself outside of the rotation, but he moved into the starting five against the Wizards while Kel'el Ware (knee) was sidelined. Ware will remain out again Wednesday in Cleveland, so Love should stick in the rotation for at least one more game, even if he isn't deployed as a starter.

Heat's Kevin Love: Starting Monday vs. Washington
Love is in the Heat's starting lineup against the Wizards on Monday.
Love has been sidelined for the past 10 games, with part of those absences being due to personal reasons. However, he will enter the starting five for Miami on Monday due to the absences of Kel'el Ware (knee), Jaime Jaquez (ankle), Andrew Wiggins (ankle) and Nikola Jovic (hand). It'll be Love's first start since Dec. 18, 2023, though he shouldn't be expected to play heavy minutes Monday despite the Heat's lack of frontcourt depth.

Love (personal) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Thunder.
The veteran big man has not been a regular member of Miami's rotation in 2024-25; therefore, his absence shouldn't have a major impact Wednesday. Heat's Kevin Love: Downgraded to questionable
Love is listed as questionable for Friday's game versus the Nets due to a head cold.
Love was initially deemed probable for Friday's contest due to a left knee contusion but has been downgraded to questionable with a head cold injury designation. Regardless, the veteran big man has appeared in only two of Miami's last 10 outings, so his potential absence shouldn't significantly affect the team's rotation.

While Love is nursing a knee contusion, the problem is unlikely to hold him out of action against Brooklyn. The veteran big man has been a healthy scratch in six of Miami's last eight games, so his status is unlikely to have major ramifications on the Heat's rotation.

Heat's Kevin Love: Draws starting nod sans Adebayo
Love will start in Monday's game against the Clippers, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports.
Love will make his first appearance with the Heat since a Dec. 29 win over Houston, joining the starting lineup Monday for the injured Bam Adebayo (back). Over five games with Miami's first unit in 2024-25, Love is averaging 7.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1.4 threes in 12.2 minutes, so the veteran big man figures to offer limited fantasy upside against the Clippers. Rookie first-rounder Kel'el Ware should play a prominent role off the bench.
