Shelvin Mack: Heads to Italy
Mack signed a two-year contract Thursday with Italian club Olimpia Milano, Eurohoops.net reports.
The 29-year-old will head to Europe for the first time after an eight-year run in the NBA that included stops with seven organizations. After averaging 7.5 points, 3.2 assists and 1.8 rebounds in 21.9 minutes per game over 57 appearances between the Hornets and Grizzlies in 2018-19, Mack failed to attract much interest from teams in free agency this offseason. He'll thus continue his career overseas, though he could make the jump back to the NBA at some point if a team is interested in bringing him in as a backup point guard.

Hornets' Shelvin Mack: Scoreless in 12 minutes
Mack had zero points (0-2 FG, 0-2 FT), one assist, and one steal in 12 minutes during Monday's 99-90 loss to the Pacers.
Mack was a massive disappointment in his Hornets debut. It will likely take him some time to gel with his new teammates and figure out the system, but this showing illustrates the fact that when healthy Tony Parker (back) remains Charlotte's best backup guard for fantasy purposes.

Hornets' Shelvin Mack: Scooped up by Charlotte
Mack was claimed off waivers by the Hornets on Sunday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
The Grizzlies shipped Mack to the Hawks on Thursday, with Atlanta immediately waiving him once the trade was finalized. The veteran, who is averaging 7.9 points, 3.4 assists, 1.9 rebounds and 0.9 triples in 22.7 minutes per game over 53 appearances this season, is expected to slot in as the Hornets' third-string point guard while also offering depth at the other backcourt spot. Assuming he's able to meet the Hornets in Indianapolis for shootaround Monday, he should be cleared to make his team debut later in the evening versus the Pacers.

Hornets' Shelvin Mack: Ready to make debut
Mack will be available to make his Hornets debut Monday against the Pacers, freelance sports writer Mark Montieth reports.
Mack hasn't had time to go through a formal practice with his new team, but he'll be cleared to play nonetheless after taking part in morning shootaround. The Hornets could look to Mack to fill in as their backup point guard Monday with Tony Parker (back) sidelined, but he'll likely drop to third on the depth chart once Parker is ready to play again.

Hawks' Shelvin Mack: Traded to Hawks, cut loose
Mack was dealt to the Hawks on Thursday in exchange for Tyler Dorsey, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. The Hawks intend to waive Mack, per Chris Vivlamore of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The deal looks to be a small salary dump for Atlanta, which gets rid of Tyler Dorsey and sheds the remaining money on Mack's one-year, $2 million contract. The 28-year-old was averaging 22.9 minutes per game off the Grizzlies' bench and will look to catch on with another team as a free agent.

Grizzlies' Shelvin Mack: Struggles in move to bench
Mack came off the bench and contributed two points (1-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt), four assists, two rebounds, two steals and one block across 25 minutes Sunday in the Grizzlies' 96-84 win over the Knicks.
Mack turned in a productive spot start Friday in Charlotte (19 points, nine rebounds, two steals in 36 minutes), but he predictably saw his playing time and numbers take a hit Sunday with Mike Conley (knee) back in action. There's a chance Conley gets traded elsewhere ahead of Thursday's deadline, but the Grizzlies could get back another developmental point guard in any deal or appoint rookie Jevon Carter to the top unit over Mack, who is on an expiring deal and doesn't factor into Memphis' long-term plans.

Grizzlies' Shelvin Mack: Strong outing in spot start
Mack finished with 19 points (8-15 FG, 3-3 3Pt) a rebound, nine assists and two steals in 36 minutes Friday against Charlotte.
Mack drew the spot start after Mike Conley (knee) was ruled out of the contest, and he led the Grizzlies in scoring in a 100-92 loss on the road. Mack knocked down three shots from beyond the arc for the first time since Nov. 14. The 28-year-old started February on a high note, although he's likely headed back to the bench when Conley is cleared to return.

Mack managed 14 points (5-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five assists, three rebounds, and one steal in 26 minutes during Saturday's 119-90 loss to the Raptors.
Mack reached double figures in scoring for the sixth straight game and has earned at least 23 minutes (his season average) in four of the last five. He has also handed out 34 assists across the last six games, providing the team with much-needed offense. With Kyle Anderson (ankle) and Dillon Brooks (toe) injured, Mack has been seeing decent minutes along the wing, allowing him to remain a relevant fantasy option despite the fact that Jevon Carter recently replaced him as Mike Conley's primary backup at point guard.

Grizzlies' Shelvin Mack: Replaced as backup point guard
Coach JB Bickerstaff said Mack will operate as the Grizzlies' third-string point guard moving forward, Michael Wallace of the Grizzlies' official site reports.
Mack, who has played just four minutes over the previous two games, will be replaced by rookie Jevon Carter (knee) as the backup to Mike Conley. Over his five games, Mack posted averages of 4.0 points, 2.6 assists and 1.4 rebounds in 14.4 minutes.

Mack provided eight points (3-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds and four assists across 26 minutes in the Grizzlies' 110-93 loss to the Warriors on Monday.
Mack drew the start at point guard with Mike Conley (hamstring) on the shelf, and he generated a serviceable stat line overall. The veteran remains a solid asset off the bench behind Conley when the latter is healthy, and he's currently sporting the second-best scoring average of his career (8.7 points per game) partly on the strength of a career-high 40.7 percent success rate from three-point range.

With usual start Mike Conley inactive due to a hamstring issue, Mack will get a spot-start Monday. He's had an effective year coming off the Grizzlies bench, and is averaging 8.7 points, 3.2 assists and 2.1 rebounds in 24.9 minutes per game, and should see a boost in run for however long Conley will be out.

Mack had nine points (3-8 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), eight assists, two rebounds, and two steals in 27 minutes during Friday's 112-104 victory over Sacramento.
Mack played well off the bench again Friday, continuing his strong start to the season. He is averaging 11.4 points per game so far but his value is primarily coming from his assist and steals numbers. Mack remains available in a lot of leagues and while he certainly doesn't have the highest upside, and could fall off at any time, he is certainly worthy of a roster spot in deeper formats and even as a streaming option in standard leagues.

Mack supplied 15 points (5-12 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-3 FT), six rebounds, five assists, and one steal in 29 minutes during Wednesday's 116-113 win over the Bucks.
Mack continues to play well in the sixth man role, providing consistently well-rounded production, albeit with modest per-game averages. Mack's versatility has allowed coach J.B. Bickerstaff to rely on more small-ball lineups, in turn helping the team keep up in the points column despite operating at a slow pace.
