Cavaliers' James Harden: Sparks late rally
Harden chipped in 22 points (7-16 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 10 rebounds, seven assists and three blocks across 36 minutes during Monday's 119-117 victory over Denver.
Harden was a key element in a late rally that erased Denver's 11-point lead in the fourth quarter. The veteran posted another excellent number in his second game with the Cavaliers, and he managed his second-highest rebound total of the season to acquire his 13th double-double of the 2025-26 campaign.

Cavaliers' James Harden: Scores 23 in team debut
Harden totaled 23 points (7-13 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight assists, two rebounds and one steal in 32 minutes during Saturday's 132-126 win over the Kings.
Playing for the first time since Jan. 30 in what was his Cavaliers debut, Harden looked comfortable during his time on the court and hit a couple of clutch buckets down the stretch to aid Cleveland in its comeback effort. The backcourt partnership between Harden and Donovan Mitchell may only improve as the two spend more time playing alongside one another, but Saturday's game offered a glimpse of the great heights they can achieve. The duo combined for 58 of Cleveland's 132 points and 12 of the team's 30 assists.

Cavaliers' James Harden: Slated for Cavs debut Saturday
Harden (recently traded) is expected to make his Cavaliers debut against the Kings on Saturday, Chris Haynes of NBA TV reports.
Harden was acquired by the Cavaliers from the Clippers on Tuesday in exchange for Darius Garland (toe) and a second-round pick. The Cavaliers and Clippers face off Wednesday in Los Angeles, but Harden won't have to go through facing his former team just one day after being dealt. Assuming he's cleared to play Saturday, Harden would join Donovan Mitchell to form a starting backcourt that has accumulated 18 All-Star selections between the superstar guards.

Clippers' James Harden: Puts in trade request
Harden (personal) and the Clippers have been working collaboratively in attempting to find a trade that will send the veteran guard out of Los Angeles ahead of Thursday's deadline, Shams Charania and Ramona Shelburne of ESPN report.
Harden missed a second game in a row in Monday's loss to the 76ers while tending to a personal matter, with head coach Tyronn Lue noting prior to the contest that the 36-year-old had returned to his home in Phoenix. Lue didn't elaborate further on any trade discussions pertaining to Harden, but Charania notes that the 11-time All-Star and the Clippers are both aligned in conversations to find him a new home if a "mutually beneficial" offer comes through. Harden re-signed with the Clippers over the summer on what was effectively a one-year deal, as the second season is a $42.32 million player option that's only partially guaranteed. Charania adds that the Cavaliers have emerged as a potential suitor for Harden, with the two sides discussing a swap that would send point guard Darius Garland to Los Angeles. Expect Harden to remain out for the Clippers' next game Wednesday against the Cavaliers while trade talks remain ongoing.

Cavaliers' James Harden: Shipped to Cleveland
The Clippers traded Harden (personal) to the Cavaliers on Tuesday in exchange for Darius Garland (toe) and a second-round pick, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Harden was away from the Clippers for personal reasons for the team's last two games, and Charania and Ramona Shelbourne of ESPN reported Tuesday that the 11-time All-Star formally put in a trade request. A Harden-Garland swap was the speculated move and ultimately came to fruition, which will see Harden pair up with Donovan Mitchell to create a formidable backcourt duo in Cleveland while Garland heads to Los Angeles to join Kawhi Leonard. Harden is unlikely to be available for Wednesday's contest against his former team, so Saturday against the Kings seems to be the likely date for the veteran southpaw's Cavaliers debut.
