Anthony Brown: Almost tallies double-double
Brown posted nine points (4-13 FG, 1-5 3Pt), 11 rebounds and two assists in the 111-108 win Sunday over the BayHawks.
Brown played 34 minutes, getting a spot start at power forward for Lakeland. Since joining the team in the beginning of January, Brown has been a valuable member of the rotation, averaging 28.9 minutes in 21 games with the team. While 12.7 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.6 assists aren't eye-popping numbers, he continues to see major time in the frontcourt and has provided some valuable depth for a team currently on the cusp of a first-place finish atop the G League Eastern conference.

Anthony Brown: Signs with Serbian club
Brown agreed to a one-year contract Tuesday with KK Partizan of the Basketball League of Serbia, ABA-liga.com reports.
Brown, who appeared in 41 regular-season games between the Lakers, Pelicans, Magic and Timberwolves over the last three years, was one of the 76ers' final cuts following the conclusion of the preseason earlier this month. The defensive-minded forward will continue his career overseas with the hope of generating renewed interest from NBA teams at the conclusion of his run in Serbia.

Anthony Brown: Let go by 76ers
Brown was waived by the 76ers on Wednesday, Derek Bodner of The Athletic reports.
Brown signed an Exhibit 10 deal with Philadelphia back at the end of August, so the expectation is that he'll receive a $50,000 bonus if he now signs with the team's G-League affiliate. Either way, Brown's release means he's unlikely to be rostered on opening day and isn't a fantasy contributor.

76ers' Anthony Brown: Scoreless in preseason loss
Brown failed to make a shot (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt) in Monday's preseason match against the Mavericks, but managed to record two rebounds and a block across six minutes.
Brown wasn't able to see much court time Monday in his bid to make the Sixers' roster for the upcoming season. The fourth-year pro has played only 41 games over the past three seasons and currently sits behind several players on the Sixers' depth chart. He signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the team over the offseason which could indicate their intention of optioning him to their G-league affiliate the Delaware Blue Coats.

76ers' Anthony Brown: Lands Exhibit 10 deal with Philadelphia
Brown agreed Wednesday with the 76ers on an Exhibit 10 contract, Keith Smith of RealGM.com reports.
The 25-year-old wing is entering his fourth year in the league, but has only suited up in 41 regular-season contests between the Lakers, Pelicans, Magic and Timberwolves. He made only one appearance for Minnesota in 2017-18 while signed to a two-way deal, instead spending most of his time in the G League. Brown will face an uphill battle to make the 76ers' roster in training camp and could be headed to their G League affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats, if he fails to make the cut.

Kings' Anthony Brown: Leads team in scoring in playoff win
Brown tallied 17 points (8-17 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), seven rebounds, two steals and an assist across 26 minutes in Friday's 69-67 Vegas Summer League consolation round win over the Warriors.
With nothing left to play for, both teams gave some of the Summer League benchwarmers more time, which gave Brown an opportunity to shine again after dropping a double-double in his last appearance. Brown spent last season in Iowa with the Timberwolves' farm team. While the Kings are a better fit, the team already has a lot of young players with contracts that need development. In his quest for a training camp spot, the result may be a G-League stint once again.

Anthony Brown: 22 and 10 dimes in loss
Brown amassed 22 points (9-17 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 10 assists and four rebounds during Wednesday's 102-97 road loss at Windy City.
In addition to recording his third double-double, Brown led all G League players Wednesday in assists. The 25-year-old out of Stanford has been a very consistent scorer for Iowa, as he has scored in double figures 36-of-39 games this season. In addition, Brown is averaging a fine stat line of 19.7 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.8 assists.

Timberwolves' Anthony Brown: Drills 10 treys in G League game
Brown tallied a season-high 35 points (11-19 FG, 10-16 3Pt, 3-5 FT) to go with seven assists, three rebound and one steal across 42 minutes for the G League's Iowa Wolves in a 124-102 win over the Oklahoma City Blue on Monday. The 10 three-pointers were an Iowa franchise record.
Aside from a brief promotion to the Timberwolves in November, Brown, one of two players in the organization signed to a two-way contract, has spent the entire campaign in the G League. Regarded mostly as a defensive specialist for his first two seasons in the pro ranks, Brown has shown some unexpected aptitude as an outside shooter across 19 games with Iowa. He's knocked down 41.7 percent of his 3-point tries for the season, which could result in him getting a longer look in the NBA at some point later on in the campaign.

Timberwolves' Anthony Brown: Recalled from G-League
Brown was recalled from the G-League on Wednesday, Jerry Zgoda of the Star Tribune reports.
Brown, who is on a two-way contract, has spent the majority of the season with the Timberwolves' G-League affiliate. He's played in seven games so far at the G-League level, averaging an impressive 23.3 points, 6.6 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.4 steals across 42.4 minutes. He'll earn the promotion to the big club for Wednesday's contest, but likely won't see the floor if the game remains competitive, keeping him off the fantasy radar.

Timberwolves' Anthony Brown: Signs two-way deal with Timberwolves
Brown agreed to a two-way contract with the Timberwolves on Tuesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
Brown began the 2016-17 campaign on the Pelicans before being waived and subsequently picked up by the Magic on a 10-day contract. He wasn't extended a second 10-day offer by Orlando. In his 11 NBA games last season, Brown posted 3.9 points and 3.0 rebounds across 14.5 minutes per game while shooting 36.0 percent from the field and 25.9 percent from beyond the arc. He spent most of last year in the D-League, however, with the Erie BayHawks. In Erie, he provided 20.3 points, 5.4 boards, 3.1 dimes and 1.0 steals across 37.8 minutes per game while hitting 46.6 percent of his looks from the field and a scorching hot 46.7 percent of his shots from deep on 5.1 attempts per game. The Timberwolves are likely hoping they can develop the 24-year-old shooting guard/small forward into an NBA-level perimeter threat, as their current team doesn't have any true three-point marksmen.

Anthony Brown: Contract not extended by Orlando
The Magic decided not to extend another 10-day contract to Brown after his first 10-day deal expired Tuesday, Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel reports.
The Magic brought Brown in from the D-League's Eric BayHawks in order to provide some extra depth on the wing while Evan Fournier (foot) was out, but it appears the team no longer views Brown as a necessary piece following Fournier's return to action in Monday's overtime loss to the Timberwolves. Brown is now expected to report back to the BayHawks, with whom he was averaging 21.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.0 steal in 39.2 minutes per game prior to his promotion to the NBA.

Anthony Brown: Inks 10-day deal with Orlando
Brown signed a 10-day contract with the Magic on Sunday, Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel reports.
Brown, a second-year forward out of Stanford, previously made nine appearances with the Pelicans before being waived in early December. He signed in the D-League shortly thereafter and has performed well for the Magic's affiliate, the Erie BayHawks, averaging 21.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.0 steal in 39.2 minutes per game while shooting 47.2 percent from three-point range. With the Magic expected to be without three of their shooting guards in Evan Fournier (foot), Jodie Meeks (thumb) and C.J. Wilcox (knee) for Sunday's game against the Warriors, Brown should help bolster the team's depth on the wing.

Pelicans' Anthony Brown: Finalizing deal with Pelicans
Brown will sign a contract with the Pelicans, Sportando reports.
After waiving Archie Goodwin earlier Sunday, the Pelicans opened up a roster spot and have decided to use it on Brown, who has been playing in the D-League after being cut by the Lakers prior to the regular season. Brown should slot in as depth at small forward, but is not expected to be an immediate member of the team's regular rotation and will likely have to earn his way into a larger role. In his lone NBA season, Brown played 29 games for the Lakers, including 11 starts, recording averages of 4.0 points, 2.4 rebounds and 0.7 assists over 20.7 minutes.
