Sir'Dominic Pointer: Unavailable Tuesday
Pointer (hand) did not play in Tuesday's contest against Stockton.
This is the first bit of news regarding an injury to Pointer, who has developed into a key role with the Charge, averaging 23.4 minutes in 41 games. The injury freed up Malik Newman to tally a whopping 34 minutes, scoring 21 points in that span, but that's in part because the Charge had just 10 active players available. If injuries persist, expect Newman to be the main beneficiary.

Sir'Dominic Pointer: Scores 20 off bench
Pointer posted 20 points (8-11 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds, four assists, three steals and two blocks in the win Wednesday over the Swarm.
The Charge were forced to reshuffle their starting lineup thanks to a groin injury to Kobi Simmons, as Chance Comanche picked up only his second start of the season, sliding the likes of Deng Adel and Jaron Blossomgame to the power forward and small forward positions, respectively. That left Pointer as essentially the team's sixth man, as the combo forward responded with a team-leading 20 points and a smattering of other statistics.

The 6-foot-6 forward also tallied three blocks and a steal in the contest. Pointer is only averaging about 22 minutes per contest despite playing in 26 contests this season, and his season averages in points (9.3) and rebounds (4.0) seem to reflect the lack of usage.
