Nets' Lance Thomas: Signs on with Nets
Thomas officially signed with the Nets on Tuesday, Ian Begley of SNY reports.
Rumors of a deal between the two sides had bubbled up in recent days, and the veteran will now officially join a re-worked Nets roster that's without DeAndre Jordan, Taurean Prince, Spencer Dinwiddie, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. Thomas spent time with the Nets during the preseason back in September and October, so he may bring some familiarity, but Brooklyn has, of course, switched coaches in the time since.

This signing had been expected for the last couple days but Thomas now officially occupies the last spot on the Nets' 20-man roster heading into training camp. Thomas was waived by the Knicks on Saturday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
Thomas, who averaged 4.5 points, and 2.5 rebounds in 17.0 minutes per game last year, was let go Saturday after five seasons with the Knicks. After shooting better than 40 percent from three from 2015-17, Thomas shot just 27.8 percent from behind the arc in 2018. He'll likely garner some interest later on in free agency and could find a rotational role elsewhere.
