Perry Jones: Back in G League action
Jones played six minutes for Windy City in a loss to Delaware on Thursday, finishing with zero points (0-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and one rebound.
Jones missed Windy City's previous game with an undisclosed issue but was back on the court Thursday. However, he played very limited minutes and continued his season-long lack of production. The 2012 first-round NBA draft pick is averaging a meager 2.9 points and 2.3 rebounds while shooting 41.2 percent from the field in 11 G League contests this season.

Perry Jones: Absent with injury
Jones missed Saturday's G League game against Long Island due to an undisclosed injury.
The specific nature of Jones' injury is unclear, as is a return timeline. The 30-year-old is averaging just 3.2 points and 2.4 boards across 13.0 minutes per game for Windy City this season.

Perry Jones: Not seeing much playing time
Jones logged 10 minutes in Windy City's 104-102 win over Fort Wayne on Saturday, posting zero points (0-1 FG) and two assists.
Since scoring a season-high eight points against Wisconsin on Jan. 16, Jones has averaged less than eight minutes over his subsequent three contests. He has scored a combined two points and has taken only two shots over that span.

Perry Jones: Signs with Windy City
The Windy City Bulls acquired Jones from the G League's available player pool in early January, Kyle Brown of Windy City's official site reports.
Jones was a first-round draft pick of the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2012 and appeared in 143 games over three seasons with the NBA club. He averaged 3.4 points and 1.8 boards in those contests, last playing during the 2014-15 season. Since that time, Jones has played internationally as well as in 55 games with the G League's Iowa Wolves. He has started slowly as a member of Windy City, totaling six points on 2-for-6 shooting over two contests. More favorably, he has also grabbed 10 boards and swatted two shots over 32 combined minutes.

Perry Jones: Rough shooting game
Jones had eight points (4-13 FG, 0-4 3Pt), nine rebounds and four assists during Wednesday's 102-97 loss to the Windy City Bulls.
Perry has been able to score at a decent rate this season but one of his major weaknesses is his inefficiency in shooting the basketball. For example, during his last three games, he is shooting just 33.3 percent along with just 6.7 percent from behind the arc. The former Baylor forward is averaging 11.3 points and five rebounds.

Perry Jones: Waived by Pelicans
Jones was waived by the Pelicans on Saturday, Scott Kushner of The Advocate reports.
Jones joined the Pelicans on a training camp deal back in September and ended up taking part in three preseason games, averaging 3.3 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.0 assist across 15.2 minutes. However, he didn't make enough of an impression on the coaching staff to make the final roster and will now return to the free agent pool. If he doesn't find any suitors elsewhere, Jones could try his luck in the G-League, or head overseas if he finds a more lucrative offer.

Pelicans' Perry Jones: Inks deal with Pelicans
Jones and the Pelicans agree to a training camp deal Monday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
Jones last played in the league during the 2014-15 season. He spent all three years of his career with the Thunder. Most recently, the 25-year-old played with BC Khimki of the Russian VTB United Leauge. Albeit a long shot, the Pelicans are thin on wing depth, so Jones could potentially land a spot on the regular season roster if he can impress in camp.
