Marquis Teague: Drops 23 points in win
Teague collected 23 points (8-24 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five assists and three rebounds across 38 minutes during Wednesday's 121-113 G League loss to the Blue.
With a number of the Hustle's top contributors seeing extended time in the pros with the Grizzlies, Teague has continued to find success in the G League. Over his past five games, the 27-year-old is averaging 18.8 points on 37-for-19 shooting. Even though his efficiency hasn't been great, the rate at which he's shooting has allowed him to put up solid numbers. He figures to remain a top contributor for the Hustle while Yuta Watanabe, Jarrod Uthoff, John Konchar and Josh Jackson spend time in the pros.

Marquis Teague: Plays season-high 40 minutes
Teague recorded 22 points (8-19 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 4-5 FT), nine assists and three rebounds over 40 minutes during Saturday's 116-113 G League win over Rio Grande Valley.
Teague finished one assist shy of a double-double, which would have made it two in a row for the 26-year-old. In two games since returning from the All-Star break, Teague has recorded a total of 34 points (13-32 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 4-5 FT), 19 assists and four rebounds.

Marquis Teague: Scores 24 in win
Teague finished with 24 points (9-19 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, five assists and one steal across 37 minutes during Thursday's 120-119 G League win over the Blue.
Teague has now posted five consecutive games of 20 points or higher while stepping into his new starting role with the Hustle. Over those five games, he's averaged 35.6 minutes while shooting 49.0 percent from the field. He'll continue to enjoy his expanded role until the two-way players start to return rom their stints in the NBA.

Marquis Teague: Leads team in scoring
Teague supplied 27 points (12-23 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five assists and two rebounds across 37 minutes of G League action during Saturday's 117-105 loss to Santa Cruz.
Teague launched a season-high 23 field goals in this one, as he continues to impress while stepping into a greater role with the Hustle. Over the past four games, Teague has amassed 98 points on 77 shots while contributing 30 assists as well. It's worth noting, though, that Teague's expanded role may not last for the rest of the season. The Hustle are rolling with a smaller squad after John Konchar, Yuta Watanabe and Josh Jackson all got recalled to the Grizzlies within the last week. With the threat of those players returning at any time, Teague's time in the spotlight could end quickly. Until then, though, he'll remain a nice fantasy asset due to his high-volume shooting and ability to distribute the ball.

Marquis Teague: Seeing more minutes
Teague posted 24 points (8-19 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight assists and one steal across 36 minutes during Wednesday's 132-127 G League win over the Legends.
With Yuta Watanabe, John Konchar and Josh Jackson all being recalled to the Grizzlies recently, Teague has found himself in a starting role over the past two contests, registering 22 and 24 points in those games. It's unclear how long he may see this level of usage, as those three recalled players could return at any point. In the meantime, Teague will try to continue making the most of his opportunity.

Marquis Teague: Held scoreless over 13 minutes
Teague failed to score while collecting seven rebounds and two assists across 13 minutes during Monday's 122-92 G League win over the Santa Cruz Warriors.
This is the second time in the past six games Teague has been held scoreless, granted the 26-year-old tied his season low in minutes with 13 and attempted just three field goals. The lack of floor time resulted from the appearances of Bruno Caboclo and Marko Guduric, who were sent down by the Grizzlies to receive some work after seeing little time in the bigs as well as to fill some minutes for a currently beat-up Hustle squad. Teague is averaging 10.5 points, 3.3 assists and 2.2 rebounds this season and figures to move back toward his average of 22.1 minutes per game once the team gets back on track in the health department, though it remains to be seen at what pace that will occur.

Marquis Teague: Repeat performance from field
Teague registered 27 points (11-17 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five assists, four steals, two rebounds and one block across 31 minutes during Wednesday's 107-95 G League win over the Skyforce,
For the second night in a row, Teague went 11-for-17 from the field. The difference Wednesday was Teague's three-point shooting, going 3-for-6 (compared to his 0-for-2 effort last game) to drop a season-high 27 points. Josh Jackson (suspension) sat again Wednesday, which could be a reason for Teague's increase in work over the last two games. With Jackson returning for Saturday's game against the Legends, it's likely that he'll return to his role as a volume shooter and in turn take back a few more opportunities Teague benefitted from during the two-game suspension.

Marquis Teague: Leads team in scoring
Teague tallied 25 points (11-17 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five rebounds, four assists and two steals across 37 minutes during Monday's 111-92 G League win over Agua Caliente.
Teague played a season-high 37 minutes Wednesday as a result of Josh Jackson's one-game suspension for violating team rules. As Jackson is a high-volume shooter, there were more shots to go around, and Teague benefitted, efficiently scoring a season-high 25 points. Unfortunately for Teague's production, Jackson's one-game absence has come and gone, and he'll return to his usual role next game, likely knocking Teague's minutes back down, although his recent success may put him first in the running for a handful of spare minutes allocated to bench players each game.

Marquis Teague: Goes 3-for-5 from deep
Teague registered 11 points (3-8 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), two assists and one rebound across 20 minutes of G League action during Thursday's 130-104 win over Northern Arizona.
Teague hit three shots from behind the arc, which marked a new season high. The 26-year-old has recorded double-digit points in half of the games he's played this year while averaging 20.2 minutes per game.

Marquis Teague: Perfect from field Friday
Teague scored 13 points (6-6 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and added one assist across 13 minutes during Friday's 125-110 win over Stockton.
Teague was a model of efficiency Friday, hitting every shot he took. He was unable to contribute much more, adding a single assist to the rest of his stat sheet. While the 26-year-old scored 16 points, the shooting performance figures to be an anomaly. Moving forward, Teague will continue to provide an outlet of scoring off the bench for the Hustle, but he won't add much value outside of that for fantasy purposes.

Grizzlies' Marquis Teague: Waived by Grizzlies
Teague was waived by the Grizzlies on Friday.
While Teague technically signed for the remainder of the season just a few days ago, his contract was mostly non-guaranteed, so waiving him doesn't carry much of a financial penalty for the Grizzlies. Memphis will replace Teague on the roster with Omari Johnson, a 28-year-old forward who played well over the final two months of the G League season.

Grizzlies' Marquis Teague: Signs for remainder of season
Teague has signed with the Grizzlies for the remainder of the season following his first 10-day contract expiring Monday, Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports reports.
Teague has played just two games with the Grizzlies, though has shown enough promise for Memphis to keep him on board for the final stretch of the season. In his two appearances, he averaged 4.0 points, 5.0 assists, 2.0 rebounds and 1.0 steal in 26.0 minutes -- showing promise as a distributor.

Marquis Teague: Signs 10-day with Grizz
Teague signed a 10-day contract with the Grizzlies on Saturday.
The former first-round pick has spent the year with the Memphis Hustle of the G League, where he's played 47 games and averaged 17.6 points, 3.4 rebounds and 6.1 assists per game. Given the Grizzlies' situation, it's certainly possible Teague could be a factor down the stretch, as the likes of Briante Weber, Kobi Simmons and Myke Henry -- among others -- have taken turns as regulars in the rotation amid injuries to Mike Conley, Tyreke Evans and Andrew Harrison.

Marquis Teague: Drops in 30
Teague managed 30 points (11-15 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six assists, four rebounds and one block during Saturday's close 126-122 loss against Santa Cruz.
This was Teague's best scoring game since dropping 31 points back on Jan. 31 but fell a little short of what would have been his fourth straight double-double. The 25-year-old and former Kentucky guard has increased his scoring and assist totals from last season, as he is averaging 17.3 points and 6.1 assists per game with the Hustle.

Marquis Teague: Fourth double-double
Teague totaled 28 points (11-24 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 4-5 FT), 10 assists and three rebounds during Wednesday's 125-116 road loss to South Bay.
The 25-year-old recorded his fourth double-double this season, topping it off with points and assists. Teague has been a reliable and consistent player for the Hustle this season, playing 32.1 minutes across 41-of-42 games as well as being one of the team's top scorers. The fifth-year guard from Kentucky is averaging 16.9 points and 5.9 assists.

Marquis Teague: Suspended for role in G-League fight
Teague has been suspended one game for his role in a fight after Tuesday's game between the Hustle and the Wolves, Adam Johnson of 2 Ways 10 Days reports.
Teague and teammate Jeremy Morgan were both hit with one-game bans, which they'll serve Sunday, when the Hustle take on the Grand Rapids Drive. Expect Teague to return to action for the Hustle's next game Tuesday against Sioux Falls.
