Jones exploded for 42 points (12-21 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 12-13 FT) and added seven rebounds and two steals during Monday's 121-107 win over the visiting Herd.
Monday's scoring performance was a new career high for Jones, as he also converted a career high 12 free-throw attempts while shooting an efficient 57.1 percent from the field. The former Miami (FL) standout has been one of the reasons for the Mad Ants' success this season, as Jones is averaging 18.2 points and 4.8 rebounds per game across 48 games played.

Jones totaled 37 points (12-21 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 8-10 FT), 11 rebounds, three assists and one block during Tuesday's narrow 119-116 road loss at Rio Valley.
Jones continued his rapid scoring pace, dropping in 37 on 57.1 percent shooting and recording his third double-double this season. The 6-8 forward has recently taken command of Fort Wayne's offense, as he has scored in double figures in every game since Jan. 5 while commonly scoring past the 25-point mark. Jones has increased his season averages since his slow start to 17.6 points and 4.7 rebounds per game this season.

Jones added 40 points (14-22 FG, 7-12 3Pt, 5-6 FT), seven rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block during Sunday's 103-89 win over visiting Iowa.
Jones totaled a new career high with 40 points Sunday as he continues to see a majority of Fort Wayne's offense lately. The Miami (FL) product has been on a tear recently, averaging a tremendous 31.8 points per game over his last five games. The 27-year-old's season average of 16.9 points has been trending upwards ever since his 29-point outing back on Feb. 7.

DeQuan Jones: Erupts for career high
Jones amassed 36 points (13-19 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 10-12 FT), five rebounds, three steals, one assist and one block during Wednesday's 128-110 win over host Wisconsin.
The G-League Slam Dunk contest winner in 2018 erupted for a career high as he reached the 30-point mark for the first time in his career. Since scoring seven points on Jan. 5, Jones has been on a hot streak, averaging 21.2 points over his last 14 games and reaching the 20-point mark in half of those games.

DeQuan Jones: Wins G-League Slam Dunk Contest
Jones won the G-League Slam Dunk Contest on Sunday, defeating Michael Bryson 86-74 in the final round, Michael Sebring of the News-Sentinel reports.
Jones brought a strong performance Sunday, scoring a 94 out of a possible 100 in the first round and following that with an 86 out of 100 in the second. He was able to score a perfect 50 on his final dunk of the first round before securing the title by scoring a 41 on his final dunk. Jones will look to continue his strong season for the Mad Ants, scoring 15.5 points and collecting 4.3 rebounds in 29.0 minutes.

DeQuan Jones: Will participate in G League Slam Dunk Contest
Jones will compete against four other high-flying G League stars in the G League Slam Dunk Contest that will take place during the International Challenge, scheduled for Feb. 18, per the G League.
Jones, who's averaging 15.5 points and 4.3 board per game, will initially compete in the preliminary round which will be conducted before tip-off of the International Challenge. The championship round will then take place at halftime. Jones has started 35 of 36 games for the Mad Ants and is a key part of their rotation, averaging 29 minutes of run per game. Jones is also shooting 41% from behind the three point arc.

DeQuan Jones: Waived by Pacers
Jones was waived by the Pacers on Saturday.
Jones was given a training camp deal back in September, but was never expected to make the final roster, which makes Saturday's release unsurprising. He'll likely head to the G-League to start the upcoming campaign, with the hope of sparking some interest from NBA teams later in the season. He could also head overseas after playing in the French LNB Pro B League last season.

Pacers' DeQuan Jones: Joins Pacers for training camp
Jones signed a training camp contract with the Pacers on Thursday.
After going undrafted out of the University of Miami back in 2012, Jones got his first taste of NBA action with the Magic. He ended up playing 63 games during the 2012-13 campaign, but was waived following the season and has yet to latch on with another NBA team since. Jones has spent the last three years overseas, most recently playing for Lille Metropole Basket Clubs of the French LNB Pro B league. He averaged 16.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.0 block during his 2016-17 campaign, but will now come back Stateside for a chance to play with Indiana. Jones has an uphill battle to make the final roster and could opt to head back overseas when all is said and done.

DeQuan Jones: Waived by Atlanta Saturday
Jones was waived by the Hawks Saturday, Chris Vivlamore of AJC.com reports.
Jones was considered a long-shot to make the Opening night roster for the Hawks. The forward last played for the Magic in the 2012-13 season. He had appeared in four preseason games, scoring 11 points in 19 minutes of action.
