Marcus Paige: Set for unrestricted free agency
Paige was not extended a qualifying offer from the Hornets and will become an unrestricted free agent.
Paige appeared in just five games with Charlotte last season as part of his two-way contract with the team, as he spent most of his rookie season with the Greensboro Swarm of the G League. In 46 G League outings, Paige averaged 15.2 points and 4.5 assists per game, and it appears his best chance of making an NBA roster again next season is on another two-way deal.

Hornets' Marcus Paige: Sees action in five games
Paige played in five games with the Hornets in 2017-18 and averaged 2.4 points, 0.8 rebounds and 0.6 assists per game.
Paige was part of the Hornets' G League team for most of the season but earned the callup occasionally. The former UNC star had his best game on March 22 when he dropped nine points on the Grizzlies. Paige will most likely sign with a G League team in time for next season, although it won't be surprising if he lands a two-way contract with an NBA team.

Marcus Paige: 33 in loss
Paige provided 33 points (9-18 FG, 6-11 3Pt, 9-10 FT), four rebounds, four steals and four assists during Friday's 124-122 loss to Delaware.
This was a new season high in points for Paige as he benefited from the fact that Greensboro star Damien Wilkins (oral surgery) was inactive Friday. The former North Carolina star has been a key piece to Greensboro's offense, as he is averaging 15.2 points and 4.5 assists per game this season.

Hornets' Marcus Paige: Assigned to G-League
Paige was assigned to the G-League's Greensboro Swarm on Friday.
Paige has played just three minutes in the NBA this season, so the move won't affect the team's rotation. In the G-League, he's averaging 15.1 points and 4.6 assists while drilling 2.6 threes at a 38.0 percent clip.

Hornets' Marcus Paige: Recalled from G League
The Hornets recalled Paige from the G League's Greensboro Swarm on Tuesday.
With Michael Carter-Williams (shoulder) sidelined Tuesday against the 76ers, the Hornets will shore up their depth at point guard by bringing back Paige, one of their two players on the roster signed to a two-way contracts. Paige has made just one three-minute appearance with the NBA team this season and has instead spent most of the campaign with Greensboro, averaging 15.1 points (on 42.6 percent shooting from the field), 4.6 assists, 2.9 rebounds, 2.6 treys and 1.3 steals in 32.3 minutes per contest.

Hornets' Marcus Paige: Reaches 30-point mark
Paige finished with 30 points (11-17 FG, 8-12 3Pt), seven assists, three rebounds and one steal during Wednesday's 98-88 win over host Lakeland.
This was the North Carolina product's second time reaching the 30-point mark this season and provided an additional seven assists during the road win. Lately, Paige has shown that he can score consistently over his last nine games, averaging 18.7 points. His season average of 14.7 points though reflects his early-season struggles as he attempts to become a more efficient scorer in the second half of the season.

Hornets' Marcus Paige: Assigned to G-League
Paige was assigned to the G-League's Greensboro Swarm on Saturday and will play during the team's home opener.
Page, who is on a two-way contract, has played three minutes at the NBA level, so this move isn't too surprising. He was the 55th pick in the 2016 NBA Draft out of North Carolina and played 46 games in the D-League last season, posting 12.1 points per game.

Hornets' Marcus Paige: Not listed on injury report Wednesday
Paige (ankle) will be available to play in Wednesday's preseason matchup against the Celtics.
Paige missed Monday's exhibition with a sprained right ankle, but appears to have made enough progress to be given the green light just two days later. That being said, Paige isn't expected to see very minutes and once the regular season begins, he'll see most of his time in the G-League due to his status as a two-way player.

Hornets' Marcus Paige: Out with ankle sprain Monday
Paige is dealing with a right ankle sprain and has been ruled out for Monday's preseason matchup with the Heat.
Paige is currently on a two-way contract and will spend the majority of the upcoming campaign in the G-League, so he won't be fantasy relevant, even when he's at full strength. Look for Paige to shoot for a return on Wednesday against the Celtics.
