Joel Bolomboy: Inks two-year deal with Russian team
Bolomboy signed a two-year contract with CSKA Moscow of the Russian VTB United League, EuroLeague.net reports.
Bolomboy spent the 2017-18 campaign in the Bucks organization, logging six games at the NBA level and the bulk of his time with the G League's Wisconsin Herd. The big man likely wouldn't have had much trouble finding work in the G League again in 2018-19, but the financial security heading overseas afforded him was too tempting for Bolomboy to ignore. His deal with CSKA likely contains an NBA opt-out clause that would allow Bolomboy to return stateside if the opportunity presents itself.

Joel Bolomboy: Averages double-double
Bolomboy produced 17 points (6-11 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-8 FT), six rebounds, two steals, one assist and one block during Friday's 119-99 loss to Lakeland.
Bolomboy had a mediocre game Friday considering his last few performances, but was still able to pour in 17 points. The former Weber State forward is averaging a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds per game.

Joel Bolomboy: Dominating force for Herd
Bolomboy added 22 points (9-11 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), eight rebounds, three blocks and one assist during Friday's 115-109 win over host Long Island.
The second-year forward has solidified himself as force for the Herd this season and Friday was no different. Bolomboy has scored past the 20-point mark nine times now and while shooting 58.5 percent from the floor. The Weber State product is averaging a double-double this year with 17.1 points and 10.3 rebounds.

Joel Bolomboy: Continues to impress
Bolomboy registered 12 points (6-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 0-1 FT), 15 rebounds, two assists and one steal during Wednesday's loss at Lakeland.
The former Weber State product continues to impress in his first stint with the NBA G-League. Bolomboy is currently averaging a double-double with 17.3 points and 10.6 rebounds. He should be able to carry on these numbers as he has shown consistently throughout this season.

Joel Bolomboy: Waived by Bucks
Bolomboy was waived by the Bucks on Sunday, Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports reports.
The Bucks announced earlier Sunday that they had converted Bolomboy from his original two-way contract to a standard one. However, Bolomboy's new deal won't last long, as he's now been waived and will head to the free agent pool. In the corresponding move, the Bucks are set to elevate Sean Kilpatrick to a full NBA deal. Bolomboy could end up settling for a spot in the G-League if there isn't much interest elsewhere right away from other NBA teams.

Bucks' Joel Bolomboy: Converted to standard NBA contract
Bolomboy will be converted to a standard NBA contract.
Bolomboy was given a two-way deal by the Bucks at the start of the season, but will now be converted to a regular contract after showing plenty of promise in the G-League. In nine games with the Bucks' G-League affiliate, Bolomboy has averaged 15.0 points, 11.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists across 32.2 minutes. Despite being given a regular contract, Bolomboy will still likely find minutes hard to come by and is not someone to target for fantasy purposes. With Bolomboy getting this new contract, DeAndre Liggins will be waived, while Xavier Munford will be given Bolomboy's previous two-way deal.

Bucks' Joel Bolomboy: At Bucks' shootaround Saturday
Bolomboy was present for the Bucks' morning shootaround in advance of Saturday's game against the Mavericks and can be presumed active, Matt Velazquez of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
With both Matthew Dellavedova (knee) and Mirza Teletovic (knee) out Saturday, the Bucks have opted to bring Gary Payton and Bolomboy to shootaround, likely to prep them to play if needed. If Bolomboy touches the floor, it would be the first time at the NBA level this season.

Bolomboy was let go by the Jazz earlier in the week, and he'll now head East, where he'll likely spend much of the year with the Wisconsin Herd of the G-League. A second-round pick in 2016, Bolomboy appeared in only 12 games for Utah, logging 53 total minutes, most of which came in garbage time.

The 2016 second-round pick showed some promise as a rookie, but he appeared sparingly in only 12 NBA games, spending much of the year in the D-League. With the league's roster cutdown deadline looming, the Jazz will cut ties with Bolomboy, who will likely land in the D-League or overseas. Bolomboy has taken part in just nine games with the Jazz and hasn't seen any action since logging four minutes in a Dec. 20 matchup with the Warriors. He's instead spent the majority of the season working on his development with the Stars, where he's taken part in 22 games and has averaged 16.3 points, 13.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.3 blocks across 34.5 minutes. Unless injuries occur higher up on the depth chart, Bolomboy likely won't get minutes in competitive games once recalled to the big club.
