Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo: Looking for trade elsewhere
Antetokounmpo (calf) is "ready for a new home" at the Feb. 5 NBA trade deadline or in the offseason as several rival teams make aggressive offers to the Bucks, ESPN's Shams Charania reports.
The writing has been on the wall for some time. Antetokounmpo has always said that he was willing to stick around in Milwaukee as long as the team was a title contender. However, the Bucks are 18-27 on the season and sitting in 12th place in the Eastern Conference. To make things trickier for the franchise, Antetokounmpo is expected to miss several weeks with his latest calf injury. Charania notes that the franchise is starting to listen to offers, and this news is certainly going to drum up a lot of interest in the superstar forward ahead of the deadline.

Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo: Without timetable for return
Bucks head coach Doc Rivers said Monday that Antetokounmpo (calf) has no timetable for a return, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports.
"He did a very good job. MRI has revealed exactly what we thought," Rivers said of Antetokounmpo's comments about likely missing 4-to-6 weeks. "There's no timetable. Calf strain and really no timetable for return. Hopefully, like it was before, sooner (than later), but there's no timetable." This injury will sideline Milwaukee's franchise player through the trade deadline, so a lot of eyes will be on the team to see if they decide to entertain offers with playoffs looking increasingly unlikely. In the meantime, players such as Kyle Kuzma, Bobby Portis and Pete Nance could be more involved for the Bucks.

Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo: Facing multi-week absence
Antetokounmpo said after Friday's 102-100 loss to the Nuggets that he expects to be sidelined for at least 4-to-6 weeks due to the right calf injury he appeared to suffer during the first quarter, Jamal Collier of ESPN.com reports.
Antetokounmpo made a brief trip to the locker room in the first quarter, but he returned to the game while sporting a wrap around his right calf and finished the night with 22 points (4-8 FG, 14-16 FT), 13 rebounds and seven assists in 32 minutes as the Bucks nearly erased a 23-point fourth-quarter deficit before falling short. However, the superstar forward was clearly favoring his right leg for most of the second half, and despite Antetokounmpo's insistence on staying in the game, he was pulled for good with 34 seconds remaining. Antetokounmpo will undergo an MRI on Saturday before the extent of his injury is revealed, but the 31-year-old cited his previous experience with calf issues in projecting that he'll bef forced to miss multiple weeks. Antetokounmpo said the injury was comparable to the right calf strain he suffered in a Dec. 3 win over the Pistons, which resulted in him being sidelined for about three and a half weeks. With that in mind, Antetokounmpo's fantasy managers should prepare for him to be out through at least the All-Star break.

Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo: Dealing with calf injury
Head coach Doc Rivers said after Friday's 102-100 loss to the Nuggets that Antetokounmpo suffered a right calf injury and was "defiant about staying in," Jamal Collier of ESPN.com reports. He finished with 22 points (4-8 FG, 14-16 FT), 13 rebounds and seven assists across 32 minutes.
It's unclear when Antetokounmpo sustained the injury, though he exited Friday's contest with 34 seconds remaining in the fourth and appeared to grab at his calf before limping off the court. Rivers also said that he thought the superstar was favoring the calf for most of the second half, according to Eric Nehm of The Athletic. The two-time MVP joined his teammates on the bench before the game ended but did not check back in. The severity of the injury is not yet clear, but he's set to receive an MRI on Saturday, per Nehm. It's worth noting that Antetokounmpo missed eight consecutive games in December due to a right calf strain.
