Anthony Bennett: Waived by Rockets
Bennett (knee) was waived by the Rockets on Wednesday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
This move comes after Bennett underwent arthroscopic knee surgery earlier in the month. The 2013 No. 1 overall pick will likely have to prove his health before finding an opportunity elsewhere.

Rockets' Anthony Bennett: Slated for knee surgery
Bennett will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his left knee, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.
It's unclear how long the procedure will keep Bennett sidelined, but it sounds like it will prevent the former first overall pick from earning a spot on the roster for the start of the season.

Rockets' Anthony Bennett: Joining Rockets
Bennett agreed to a non-guarenteed deal with the Rockets on Friday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
Bennett was notoriously drafted No. 1 overall by the Cavaliers in 2013. He ultimately failed to provide much of anything on the court and bounced around between four teams during his four seasons in the league. However, his pursuit of an NBA career has continued since in the G League. He averaged 12.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.1 triples, and 0.9 steals across 20.9 minutes per game last season for the Agua Caliente Clippers. Most notably, he shot 45.3 percent from beyond the arc on 4.7 attempts per game, which likely caught general manager Daryl Morey's eye.

Anthony Bennett: Still missing time
Bennett (knee) did not play in Thursday's loss to South Bay.
Bennett has been incredibly productive with Agua Caliente, but he's only played in 25 of the team's 43 games. Without any idea when he'll return, look for Marc Loving and Johnathan Motley to continue to soak up the minutes.

Anthony Bennett: Out Wednesday
Bennett (knee) did not play in Wednesday's contest against Windy City.
The veteran forward has missed the last four contest with a knee injury, even extending past the extended G League break. Bennett's season has been mired by injuries, but when healthy, he's been a potent scoring threat nearly every time on the court.

Anthony Bennett: Able to play Tuesday
Bennett (undisclosed) came off the bench Tuesday and finished the win with 10 points (4-7 FG, 2-4 3Pt), seven rebounds and one assist.
Bennett missed time near the holidays with an undisclosed injury, but was back in full effect Tuesday. Ontario Agua Caliente has been limited by injuries for much of the season which has forced Bennett into a substantial role in the team's second unit. Should he stay healthy, Bennett could creep towards a fantasy relevant role in any format, particular if the likes of the players ahead of him on the depth chart, Johnathan Motley or Angel Delgado, succumb to an injury.

Anthony Bennett: Out Friday
Bennett (undisclosed) did not play in Friday's loss to Stockton.
Bennett has missed a smattering of games this year with a variety of minuscule injuries, so it wouldn't be a surprise if Friday's designation fits under that category. He'll aim to take the court Tuesday.

Anthony Bennett: Excellent performance in win
Bennett (ankle) finished Wednesday's win with 36 points (12-13 FG, 8-9 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds, one assist and one steal.
Welcome back Anthony Bennett! The former No. 1 overall pick missed the previous two games thanks to an ankle injury, but that didn't seem to limit him Friday, finishing with a season-high 36 points across 26 minutes.
