Archie Goodwin: Tops season high one week after setting mark
Goodwin posted 33 points (10-19 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 11-11 FT), four assists, three rebounds and two steals in the 125-114 win Friday.
Goodwin just registered a career-high in points last Friday, and topped it by one point a week after thanks to 52.6 percent field goal percentage. It could have been even worse if Goodwin had connected on more than two of his three-point attempts, but given he's only shooting 24.7 percent from deep through 25 games with the Red Claws, Friday's performance has been on par with the rest of this season.

Archie Goodwin: Strong showing off bench

He came off the bench for the first time this season, leading the reserves with 32 minutes logged. Although Saturday proved to be a down game by his standards, his 22.7 ppg and 5.6 rpg average give reason to believe he'll return to form in the near future.

Archie Goodwin: Signs with G League squad
Goodwin agreed to a contract Thursday with the G League's Maine Red Claws.
Goodwin previously attended training camp with the Red Claws but was unable to secure a roster spot. After a brief stint in the Chinese Basketball Association, the 2013 first-round pick will return to North America to provide Maine with some extra backcourt depth. Goodwin hasn't appeared at the NBA level since 2016-17, and the fact that he was cut from the G League squad earlier this season doesn't bode well for his chances of resurfacing at basketball's top level.

Trail Blazers' Archie Goodwin: Well-rounded bench effort to cap SL play
Goodwin supplied 10 points (4-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and two steals across 22 minutes during the Trail Blazers' 91-73 win over the Lakers in the Las Vegas Summer League championship game Tuesday.
Goodwin consistently made his case as a potential backcourt rotation piece for the coming season during his time in Las Vegas. The 23-year-old -- who already boasts four seasons of NBA experience -- averaged 9.5 points (on 55.0 percent shooting), 2.8 rebounds and 1.0 assist across 14.3 minutes over six summer league games, displaying the same accurate shooting he flashed during the 2016-17 season, his most recent NBA campaign. Goodwin will now await word on whether his efforts convinced the Trail Blazers or another squad to issue him a training camp invite.

Trail Blazers' Archie Goodwin: Lives at the charity stripe in SL victory
Goodwin totaled 21 points (4-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 14-16 FT), two assists, one rebound and one steal in 19 minutes during Monday's 97-92 summer league victory over the Grizzlies.
Goodwin, who was waived by the Trail Blazers last season, provided a scoring punch off the bench in Monday's semi-final victory. He was able to get to the basket with ease and the Grizzlies only option was apparently to foul him every time, sending him to the free-throw line 16 times. He is merely trying to get a look in as a rotation guy at this stage and that still seems like a stretch.

Trail Blazers' Archie Goodwin: Signs training camp deal with Trail Blazers
Goodwin agreed to a training camp contract with the Trail Blazers on Thursday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
Goodwin largely struggled to field interest last season, though he spent short stints with both the Nets and Pelicans. Between the two organizations, he played in just 15 games, while averaging 7.3 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.6 assists across 14.3 minutes. After being waived by Brooklyn in July, Goodwin struggled to find a suitor this offseason once again and will have to settle for a training camp deal in Portland. He'll need to have a strong showing throughout camp and the preseason to have any chance at making the regular-season roster, but at this point he's just a long-shot.

Archie Goodwin: Waived by Nets
Goodwin was waived by the Nets on Friday.
Goodwin, who signed the first of two 10-day deals with the team on March 15, was let go by the Nets on Friday after appearing in 12 games last season. In those games, he posted 7.9 points, 2.3 boards and 1.9 assists across 15.4 minutes per game. His release may be a result of Brooklyn trading for wing Allen Crabbe, who projects to see near-starter's minutes, just several days prior.

Goodwin totaled 20 points (7-11 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 6-10 FT), seven rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block across 29 minutes during a 112-73 loss to the Bulls on Wednesday.
Goodwin's 20 points off the bench marked a season high and a team high as the team held out several players. He was able to have his best game of the season in the finale, as the seven boards, four dimes, 29 minutes received and 11 field goal attempts were all season highs well.
