Erick Green: Signs two-year contract with Greek team
Green signed a two-year contract with Greek club Olympiacos last week, Sportando reports.
Green logged nine appearances between the Nuggets and Jazz last season, but wasn't able to stick around long with either team. With few NBA clubs likely interested in extending him a guaranteed contract this offseason, Green will opt to head overseas, where he'll enjoy more job security. His deal with Olympiacos could contain an opt-out clause that would allow him to return to the NBA if a favorable opportunity presents itself.

Erick Green: Won't be re-signed
Green wasn't re-signed by the Jazz after the expiration of his second 10-day contract Tuesday and will rejoin the D-League's Reno Bighorns, Chris Reichert of Upside Motor reports.
With the trade deadline on the horizon, the Jazz determined that having more roster flexibility was more important than carrying extra depth at point guard. Green made six appearances during his roughly three-week stint with the Jazz, contributing averages of 2.2 points, 0.8 rebounds, and 0.3 assists across 5.8 minutes.

Jazz's Erick Green: Signed to second 10-day contract
Green signed a second 10-day contract with the Jazz on Friday.
Green played in two outings for the Jazz over the length of his first 10-day contract, finishing with averages of two points, 0.5 rebounds and 0.5 assists over four minutes per game. He's not expected to crack the regular rotation any time soon, but he'll continue to offer a depth option behind the likes of Raul Neto and Trey Burke at the point. The Jazz will have to decide whether to release Green or sign him for the rest of the season following the conclusion of his second 10-day contract.

Erick Green: Signing 10-day deal with Jazz
Green is signing with the Jazz on a 10-day contract, Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports reports.
With Raul Neto (concussion) likely to miss some time, Green will provide depth at point guard behind presumed fill-in starter Trey Burke. Green might jump right into the rotation, as Burke is Utah's only healthy point guard at the moment.

Nuggets' Erick Green: Released by Nuggets
Green was released by the Nuggets on Thursday, Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post reports.
The former Virginia Tech star played just seven combined minutes through the team's first four games, but Thursday's move comes in response to Denver's need for help in the frontcourt. Jusuf Nurkic, Joffrey Lauvergne and Nikola Jokic are all injured, leaving the Nuggets extremely shorthanded up front, and they'll reportedly add free agent Kostas Papanikolaou in Green's place. The 24-year-old Green could draw some interest from other teams, but his most likely landing spot is the D-League or a foreign league.

Nuggets' Erick Green: Earns roster spot
Green earned a roster spot with the Nuggets for the start of the regular season, Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post reports.
Green beat out Nick Johnson for third-string point guard duties after he averaged 6.8 points and two assists over 18.4 minutes per contest during the preseason. Despite earning a roster spot, Green's low standing on the Nuggets' depth chart will make it difficult for him to earn minutes off the bench.

Nuggets' Erick Green: Collects 16 points Sunday
Green provided 16 points (6-12 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four assists, three rebounds, and a steal over 25 minutes in Sunday's 111-98 loss to the Thunder.
It was a breakout performance for the sophomore guard trying to climb the Nuggets' depth chart, with his point total easily marking a preseason high and the second highest scoring night of his young career overall. Green was particularly aggressive with his shot and showed nice touch from long range in his most extensive playing time to date in the exhibition slate. The 24-year-old figures to receive another long long in the Nuggets' preseason finale against the Jazz on Thursday.
