Ryan Kelly: Heads to Spain
Kelly signed a contract Thursday with Real Betis of the Spanish ACB league, international beat writer David Pick reports.
After spending his first three years in Los Angeles with the Lakers, Kelly moved to Atlanta for the 2016-17 campaign, but struggled to receive much playing time. He took part in just 16 games, averaging 1.6 points and 1.1 rebounds across 6.9 minutes. After failing to see much interest on the open free agent market this offseason, the sharpshooting big man will head overseas in an attempt to restore his value.

Ryan Kelly: Waived by Houston
Kelly was waived by the Rockets on Friday, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.
The Rockets acquired Kelly last week prior to the Chris Paul trade, and while it looked as though Kelly was going to be headed to Los Angeles as part of the deal, the Rockets ultimately held onto him. However, Houston never had any plans to keep Kelly beyond Friday, as his contract for next season would have become guaranteed had he remained on the roster on July 8. Kelly will now become an unrestricted free agent and will look to catch on with another team as a reserve stretch-four.

Rockets' Ryan Kelly: Dealt to Clippers
Kelly was dealt from the Rockets to the Clippers, David Aldridge of NBA.com reports.
After being traded from the Hawks to the Rockets in exchange for cash considerations, Kelly is now a member of the Clippers, although it's likely he will be waived in short order. Kelly isn't expected to be of much use to the Clippers if he does stay, considering his modest averages of just 1.6 points, 1.1 rebounds, and 0.3 blocks per game last season. Kelly's contract for next season is non-guaranteed, provided he's waived prior to July 7.

Rockets' Ryan Kelly: Dealt to Houston
Kelly was dealt from the Hawks to the Rockets on Wednesday in exchange for cash considerations, Bob Rathburn of Fox Sports Southeast reports.
The Hawks likely weren't planning on using Kelly much next season considering he played just 110 minutes this past year, so they've opted to send him to Houston in exchange for financial flexibility. His intended strength is primarily as a floor spacer, as he's a 6-11 forward with a career three-point percentage of 31.6 percent. While that's not great, Kelly is still just 25-years-old and has only taken 323 attempts from deep.
