Brimah was waived by the Pacers on Tuesday, Tony East of the West Indianapolis Community News reports.

Brimah signed a two-way contract with the Pacers on Friday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

The 27-year-old will join the Pacers down the stretch after spending the G League season with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. Brimah provides depth at center with Myles Turner (toe) out indefinitely while Domantas Sabonis (back) and Goga Bitadze (ankle) also deal with injuries.

  • Amida Brimah: Nears double-double against Charge

Brimah posted eight points (3-8 FG, 1-1 FT), 13 rebounds, five blocks and one steal over 28 minutes in Thursday's 99-94 loss to the Charge.

Brimah was one of the top contributors on the boards once again Thursday, and he came within two points of recording a double-double in the narrow loss. Brimah has started each of the last four games for the Mad Ants, and he's been a key contributor on the boards. While his scoring output has usually been limited by a meager shot volume, he's averaging 8.4 points and 8.4 rebounds over 24.9 minutes per game across his first five G League appearances this year.

Brimah (not injury related) isn't on the injury report for Saturday's game against the Bulls.

  • Pacers' Amida Brimah: Inks Exhibit 10 with Pacers

Brimah (knee) has signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Pacers, Tony East of the West Indianapolis Community News reports.

Brimah has presumably healed from the torn ACL he suffered in October of 2019, and he'll look to make the Pacers' roster this season. He has yet to see NBA action, spending the 2017-18 and 2018-19 campaigns in the G League with the Austin Spurs. In Brimah's G League career, he's averaging 7.7 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.8 blocks and 1.0 assists in 23.0 minutes. It's extremely unlikely that Brimah will have fantasy relevance this season.

  • Amida Brimah: Waived by Indiana

Brimah was waived by the Pacers on Wednesday.

Brimah was a long shot at making the final roster cut, so his waiving doesn't come as a surprise. Brimah will likely end up with Indiana's G League affiliate once the season begins. He averaged a solid 8.8 points and 8.0 rebounds last year with the Austin Spurs.

Brimah is averaging 23.6 minutes per contest, so it was actually a down night for the Austin big man, likely due to his five turnovers and three fouls. Through 37 games, the second-year G League player is averaging 8.4 points, 7.7 rebounds, 3.1 blocks and 2.4 turnovers per game.

Brimah was waived by the Spurs on Friday, Paul Garcia of TheSportsDaily.com reports.

Brimah spent last season overseas, averaging 7.6 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.2 blocks for KK Partizan of the Serbian KLS league. He signed an Exhibit 10 deal with the Spurs earlier in the week, but it appears the organization wants to get a look at different talent.

  • Spurs' Amida Brimah: Headed to camp with Spurs

Brimah signed an Exhibit 10 deal with the Spurs on Tuesday, Keith Smith of RealGM reports.

After going undrafted out of Connecticut last season, Brimah spent the 2017-18 campaign with KK Partizan of the Serbian KLS league. He finished the year averaging 7.6 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.2 blocks across 13 games. However, Brimah is looking to come back to the United States for the upcoming season and will join San Antonio for training camp. The Exhibit 10 contract means Brimah would be converted to a two-way deal if he's on the roster for the start of the regular season. Otherwise, he would also receive $50,000 if waived and then joins the team's G-League affiliate.

  • Spurs' Amida Brimah: Perfect from the field in ugly loss

Brimah had eight points on 4-4 shooting, adding three rebounds and two blocks in 17 minutes during Friday's 90-55 summer league loss to the Suns.

Brimah continues to shoot the ball well, albeit on very low volume. He saw his playing dip a little in this one, however, that was likely due to the nature of the scoreline and the opportunity to get the bench players some additional run. He has demonstrated a nice ability to rack up blocks in a short amount of time but is still far from a lock to even make their training camp.

  • Spurs' Amida Brimah: Blocks six shots in overtime loss

Brimah had just four points on 2-of-2 shooting but added eight rebounds and six blocks in 23 minutes during Thursday's 83-75 summer league loss to Milwaukee.

Brimah was quiet on the offensive end but was able to provide some elite rim protection in the overtime loss. He has seen his playing time increase over the week and while he is still a long way from getting a look into the main roster, his improved play has been a real positive for the Spurs organization.

  • Spurs' Amida Brimah: Comes just shy of double-double Tuesday

Brimah just missed a double-double in Tuesday's 89-95 summer league loss to the Trail Blazers, tallying nine points (3-4 FG, 3-5 FT), nine rebounds, one assist and two blocks across just 16 minutes.

Brimah was all over the floor in limited minutes off the bench and his nine rebounds marked a team-high. He also knocked down an efficient 3-of-4 attempts from the field and he could have earned himself a longer look in the final few summer league games later this week. Coming into Tuesday's contest, Brimah saw a total of just 12 minutes in the first two summer league outings in Las Vegas. The 24-year-old is likely a candidate to start the season in the G-League or overseas.
