Matt Jones: Sets season high in points
Jones finished Sunday's 118-116 win over the Swarm with 33 points (9-19 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 12-13 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and two steals.
Sunday's game was easily a season high for the forward, who is only averaging 12.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.2 steals despite playing in 48 games. Prior to Sunday, Jones had just six games in which he scored 20 or more points in the 2018-19 campaign.

Matt Jones: Sets season-high mark in scoring
Jones scored 26 points (9-12 FG, 4-4 FT, 4-6 3Pt) and picked up three rebounds, one assist and one blocked shot in Stockton's 132-116 win over Austin on Sunday.
Jones helped the Kings jump ahead to a 17-point lead at the end of the first quarter with six points, and remained a consistent scoring threat from that point forward. His production dipped in the second, but Jones was crucial in that he finished the game with 17 points in the second half, 13 of which came in the third quarter. The Kings shot well as a team, connecting on 51.7 percent from the field, and Jones was no exception, posting a 77.3 percent success rate in a solid offensive outing.

Matt Jones: Good game, inconsistent though
Jones provided 21 points (8-17 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five rebounds, four steals, two assists and one block during Wednesday's win over South Bay.
The former Duke product exploded for a season high in points and filled every major statistical category Wednesday. Over the course of the season though, Jones has been inconsistent in producing consecutive double-digit scoring performances, as his season average of 9.1 points per contest resembles.

Jones was waived by the Kings on Sunday, James Ham of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Jones had the chance to play in five preseason games. Over that time he averaged 11.8 minutes and 2.0 points per game. Jones, an undrafted rookie, spent four seasons at Duke and averaged 6.4 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 1.4 assists over 142 games.
