Koenig had been in a bit of a slump over the past three games as he converted on just 33.3 percent of his field goals during that time, but he managed to slightly boost his production Tuesday with a double-digit point total off the bench. The 25-year-old has had an inconsistent role with the BayHawks this season as he's averaging 4.9 PPG and 1.5 RPG.

Bronson Koenig: Set to join the Erie Bayhawks
Koenig will join the Erie Bayhawks on Tuesday, as he was recently acquired from Grand Rapids Drive.
After spending a couple of years overseas, Koenig is set to become a member of the Pelicans' G-League affiliate. Koenig last appeared in the G League during the 2017-18 season, playing for the Grand Rapids and averaging just under 10 points in roughly 21 minutes per game.

Koenig's double digit scoring streak came to an end Wednesday after going five straight games above 10 points. Aside from scoring 10.4 points per game. the former Wisconsin Badgers' guard is not a factor in any other major statistical categories, as he is only averaging 2.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists for Grand Rapids this season.

Bronson Koenig: Waived by Bulls
Koenig was waived by the Bulls over the weekend, K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Koenig originally inked a two-way deal with the Bucks, but was let go just prior to training camp, which allowed the Bulls to sign him and evaluate him over the last few weeks. However, Koenig struggled to make much of an impact and has officially been sent packing. He'll likely start the season in the G-League, unless of course he decides to test his luck overseas.

Koening signed a training camp deal with the Bulls on Wednesday, Jonathan Givony of DraftExpress.com reports.
After spending almost three months under a two-way contract with the Bucks and subsequently being waived, the Bulls have opted to give Koenig a shot during training camp. During five Summer League games with Milwaukee, he averaged 5.2 points and 1.0 rebound across 15.8 minutes per game. The perimeter-shooting combo-guard will have to fight for a final roster spot with the Bulls.

It's unclear exactly the reasoning behind the move, though Koenig could be forced to spend the entire year in the G-League or overseas if a more lucrative opportunity arises.
