Nigel Williams-Goss: Finds work overseas
Williams-Goss agreed to a contract Tuesday with Russian club Lokomotiv Kuban, Eurohoops.net reports.
After being selected by the Jazz with the No. 55 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, Williams-Goss spent one season apiece in Serbia and Greece before joining Utah for the 2019-20 campaign. The point guard didn't make much of an impression over his 10 appearances with the Jazz as a rookie, prompting the team to release him during the preseason. With no other NBA teams interested in scooping up the 26-year-old point guard, he'll return overseas to continue his career.

Williams-Goss was waived by the Jazz on Tuesday, Tony Jones of The Athletic reports.
The 26-year-old was playing well through the first two preseason games for Utah, but it wasn't enough to retain a roster spot. Williams-Goss appeared in only 10 games for the Jazz last season and averaged 1.4 points in 5.0 minutes.

Jazz's Nigel Williams-Goss: Sidelined again
The Jazz list Williams-Goss (quadriceps) as out for Friday's game against the Wizards.
The left quad contusion has sidelined Williams-Goss for the past week, with the rookie now set to miss his fifth straight game as a result. Williams-Goss hasn't been included in coach Quin Snyder's rotation at any point this season, so his ongoing absence won't impact how the minutes are distributed in the backcourt.

Jazz's Nigel Williams-Goss: Sitting again Monday

The rookie will be idle for a third consecutive game with a left quadriceps contusion. Before the injury surfaced, Williams-Goss hadn't seen action in any of Utah's 17 games prior to the All-Star break, so his ongoing absence won't impact how coach Quin Snyder divvies up the playing time among his guards.

Jazz's Nigel Williams-Goss: Dealing with quad injury
Williams-Goss sat out the Jazz's back-to-back losses Friday against the Spurs and Saturday against the Rockets due to a left quadriceps contusion.
Williams-Goss hasn't been a regular presence in Utah's rotation at any point this season, so he likely wouldn't have seen the court anyway if the injury wasn't an issue. The Jazz have yet to submit an updated injury report ahead of Monday's game against the Suns, so Williams-Goss can be viewed as questionable for that contest for now.
