Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Set to miss significant time
Gordon (hamstring) will be re-evaluated in 4-to-6 weeks, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Gordon suffered a Grade 2 right hamstring strain early in Friday's game against the Rockets and will be sidelined for at least a month. The forward had been impressive to open the regular season, averaging 18.8 points and 5.9 rebounds on 53.2 percent shooting and 44.4 percent from three across 13 games. His extended absence is likely to push Peyton Watson into an expanded role on the wing.

Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Expected to miss time
Nuggets head coach David Adelman said after Friday's 112-109 win over the Rockets that he expects Gordon (hamstring) to miss some time, Vic Lombardi of Altitude Sports.
Gordon departed in the second quarter with a right hamstring strain, finishing the night with one point (0-1 FG, 1-2 FT, 0-1 3Pt) and two rebounds in three minutes. Though the severity of Gordon's hamstring injury won't be confirmed until he undergoes an MRI, even a Grade 1 strain would likely put the veteran forward in line for a multi-game absence. Spencer Jones opened the second half of Friday's game with the starting five in Gordon's stead, and players such as Cameron Johnson, Tim Hardaway, Bruce Brown and Julian Strawther (back) could also see boosts in playing time while Gordon is on the mend.

Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Questionable to return
Gordon is listed as questionable to return for Friday's game against Houston due to a right hamstring strain.
Gordon has been nursing a hamstring injury recently, and he aggravated the injury Friday night. Look for Spencer Jones and Zeke Nnaji to see more action while Gordon is idle.

Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Available Friday
Gordon (hamstring) is available for Friday's game against the Rockets.
The probable tag indicated that Gordon would be available for this matchup, and his availability is now official. The veteran is enjoying an excellent start to the season, averaging 20.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists per contest in 12 games while shooting 53.6 percent from the field. The return of Gordon means Zeke Nnaji will return to a bench role.

Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Won't return Friday
Gordon won't return to Friday's game against the Rockets due to a right hamstring strain.
Gordon has been dealing with a left hamstring issue for most of November, so the injury he suffered Friday night was to his "good" hamstring. The Nuggets are playing the first game of a back-to-back set Friday, so don't be surprised if Gordon needs to miss Saturday's game versus Sacramento. Peyton Watson and Spencer Jones should be more involved in the rotation sans Gordon, while Cameron Johnson would likely see a larger role on offense.

Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Heads to locker room
Gordon exited Friday's game against the Rockets and went to the locker room with an apparent hamstring injury, Tony Jones of The Athletic
Gordon had been dealing with a hamstring injury leading up to Friday's contest, and he may have aggravated the issue. Regardless, he'll be sidelined for at least a portion of Friday's contest as he gets looked at in the locker room. His absence could mean more action for Spencer Jones and Zeke Nnaji.

Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Likely to play vs. Houston

The Nuggets continue to monitor Gordon, who is nursing a hamstring injury, but the forward is expected to play Friday. Gordon is off to a hot start in 2025-26, having averaged 20.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists per contest in 12 games while shooting 53.6 percent from the field. Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: No-go Wednesday
Gordon (injury management) won't play in Wednesday's game against the Pelicans.
Gordon will get the night off Wednesday as the veteran forward continues to tend to a minor hamstring injury. His absence should open up more opportunities for Tim Hardaway and Spencer Jones, while Hunter Tyson or Zeke Nnaji could enter the rotation. Gordon's next chance to play will come Friday at Houston, which is the opening leg of a back-to-back set.

Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Questionable for Wednesday
Gordon is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Pelicans due to bilateral hamstring injury management.
In other words, the Nuggets are contemplating a maintenance day for the forward. The Nuggets have a back-to-back set coming up Friday and Saturday as well, so it seems likely that Gordon will miss at least one of these three games as the franchise aims to keep him fresh.

Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Double-double in Monday's loss
Gordon posted 24 points (10-18 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT) and 10 rebounds across 32 minutes during Monday's 130-127 loss to the Bulls.
The veteran forward produced his second straight 20-point double-double, although he hasn't pulled down more than nine boards in any other game this season. Gordon is seeing more shot volume than usual in the early part of 2025-26, and through 12 contests, he's averaged what would be career highs with 20.3 points and 2.3 threes, along with 6.3 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 0.8 steals.

Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Logs 18 points in win
Gordon supplied 18 points (6-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds and one steal across 31 minutes during Wednesday's 130-116 victory over the Clippers.
Gordon enjoyed an accurate night on the floor, but his production can tend to flatten out when Nikola Jokic puts up a monster line. Jokic's 55 points set up that scenario, forcing Gordon into a complementary role. He's also working back from a hamstring injury but has missed only one game this season, which came during the second half of a back-to-back set.

Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Available to play
Gordon (hamstring) is available for Wednesday's game against the Clippers.

Gordon is putting up top-60 numbers on the season with 19.8 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 2.3 triples and just 1.7 turnovers per contest.

Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Probable for Wednesday

Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Expected to play
Gordon (hamstring) is probable to play Tuesday against the Kings, Brendan Vogt of TheDNVR.comreports.
Gordon missed the second leg of Denver's back-to-back set due to left hamstring injury management in Saturday's win over Indiana, but coach David Adelman anticipates him being available barring a setback in warmups. Essentially, he's going to be a game-time call. Tuesday's game is the front end of another back-to-back, so it will be interesting to see how the Nuggets handle this.

Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Questionable Saturday
Gordon (hamstring) is questionable for Saturday's game against the Pacers.
Gordon is dealing with a hamstring issue, which could keep him sidelined. In the event he's ruled out, the team will likely pivot to a combination of Peyton Watson, Zeke Nnaji and Hunter Tyson to help pick up the slack in the frontcourt.

Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Strikes for 24 in win
Gordon finished with 24 points (9-16 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 5-6 FT), six rebounds, one assist and one steal across 31 minutes during Wednesday's 122-112 win over the Heat.
The veteran forward hit for at least 20 points for the second straight game while pulling down at least five boards for the fourth straight game. Gordon's numbers on the season are still boosted by his 50-point Opening Night eruption, but over that four-game stretch, he's averaged his usual dependable 16.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.3 threes and 0.8 steals in 29.0 minutes.

Gordon reached 20 points for the second time this season -- the last time he did that was on Opening Night when he exploded for 50 points against the Warriors. Through six regular-season contests, Gordon is on pace for third-round value in nine-category formats with 19.8 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.8 steals and 2.5 three-pointers.
