Bryce Cotton: Inks contract with Turkish squad
Cotton signed a contract Saturday with Anadolu Efes S.K. of the Turkish Basketball Super League, Hoops Hype reports.
Cotton was hopeful to earn a guaranteed contract from an NBA team on the strength of his quality summer league performance with the Hawks, during which he averaged 12.8 points, 2.6 rebound and 1.4 assists over 19.6 minutes per game in his five appearances while shooting 45.1 percent from the field and 40.9 percent from three-point land. Any offers he might have received apparently weren't enticing enough, however, as Cotton will opt to head overseas in 2016-17. Given that he's just 24 years old and saw action in eight games with the Suns and Grizzlies a year earlier, there's still time for Cotton to resurface at the NBA level.

Grizzlies' Bryce Cotton: Signs contract through end of season
Cotton signed a contract with the Grizzlies on Monday that will run through the end of the 2015-16 season.
The Grizzlies' roster has become healthier in the last two weeks, but with Mike Conley (Achilles) and Marc Gasol (foot) out for the season and Brandan Wright (knee) and Jordan Adams (knee) likely in a similar boat, the team will still be able to retain Cotton as part of a hardship exemption it received from the league. Cotton will serve as the Grizzlies' third-string point guard through the rest of the regular season, but will not be eligible for the team's postseason roster. The 6-foot-1 guard has appeared in six games this season for the Grizzlies and Suns this season, averaging one point and 0.5 assists over 5.6 minutes.

Grizzlies' Bryce Cotton: Will sign 10-day contract with Grizzlies
Cotton is expected to sign a 10-day contract with the Grizzlies on Saturday, Chris Vernon of ESPN reports.
The Grizzlies had an injury exception available, so they'll use it to sign Cotton, who played three games with the Suns earlier in the season and has most recently spent time in the NBA D-League. In his last six games with the Austin Spurs of the D-League, Cotton has averaged 19.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 4.0 assists over 33 minutes. He'll slot in as depth at point guard behind Jordan Farmar for the Grizzlies. Ray McCallum is expected to be released in the corresponding move.

Bryce Cotton: Will be waived by Suns
Cotton will be waived by the Suns, Shams Charania of Yahoo! reports.
Cotton played sparingly for the Suns even after Eric Bledsoe (knee) was lost for the season, so the team decided to remove him from the active roster. He could get another shot to stick with the Suns if Phoenix decides to bring him back on a 10-day contract.

Suns' Bryce Cotton: Scores two in season debut
Cotton scored two points (1-6 FG, 0-2 3Pt) with three steals and two assists over 21 minutes in a 112-79 loss to the Spurs on Wednesday.
With Ronnie Price and Eric Bledsoe sidelined with injuries, Bryce Cotton became next-in-line to back up Brandon Knight. Cotton, who was waived by the Jazz at the end of the preseason, wasn't able to do much with his limited opportunity Wednesday, and will likely return to a lesser role once Price returns from a sprained toe.

Bryce Cotton: Expected to be called up by Suns
Cotton is on track to be called up from the D-League by the Suns prior to Wednesday's game against the Pelicans, ESPN's Marc Stein reports.
Cotton has been impressive thus far in the D-League, averaging 22 points, 4.5 assists, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.5 steals in 35 minutes per game through four games for the Austin Spurs. His performance has caught the eye of the Suns, who are in the process of calling him up to provide depth at the guard position. Eric Bledsoe (sore knee) will likely be a game-time decision Wednesday, and if he ends up being held out, Cotton could immediately see light minutes off the bench.

Bryce Cotton: Waived on Tuesday
Cotton was waived by the Jazz on Tuesday.
Even after the season-ending ACL injury to Dante Exum, Cotton never ranked higher than third or fourth on the Jazz's depth chart at point guard, making him an unnecessary luxury for the team to carry. Cotton still likely could have made a strong case for a roster spot with a good preseason, but that never materialized. Over two exhibition appearances spanning 34 minutes, Cotton shot a woeful 4-for-19 from the field.

Utah Jazz's Bryce Cotton Stuck on pine in preseason
Cotton has failed to see any time on the court during Utah's first two preseason games.
Cotton is currently the third point guard on coach Quin Snyder's depth chart. However, the bulk of minutes will likely be given to Trey Burke and Raul Neto. Making matters worse, Alec Burks has even spent time at point guard throughout his career despite now owning the starting shooting guard spot.
