Eric Moreland: Signs overseas
Moreland has signed a contract with the Shanxi Loongs of the Chinese Basketball Association, Emiliano Carchia of Sportando.com reports.
Moreland will head overseas after getting waived by the Thunder last week. The 27-year-old has appeared in 83 NBA games since breaking into the league in 2014-15, posting averages of 1.9 points and 3.7 rebounds in 10.8 minutes.

Moreland spent the last month and a half with the team trying to compete for a roster spot, but he ultimately came up short. The forward has played in 83 NBA games in his career with four different teams, and should he find a home during the 2019-20 season, his role will likely be limited.

Moreland has appeared in 83 total NBA games across four different teams, posting career averages of 1.9 points and 1.0 assists in 10.8 minutes. He'll fight for a spot on OKC's final roster, where he might be able to rack up some power forward minutes.

Raptors' Eric Moreland: Returning to Toronto
Moreland will sign with the Raptors prior to the playoffs, Josh Lewenberg of TSN reports.
The Raptors had an open roster spot, and they'll bring back Moreland to fill it a few weeks after his 10-day contract with the team expired. Moreland is unlikely to be a part of the playoff rotation, but he'll add depth up front behind Pascal Siakam, Serge Ibaka and OG Anunoby.

Moreland signed a 10-day contract with the Raptors on Wednesday, Michael Scotto of The Athletic reports.
Moreland was with the Raptors for preseason and training camp before being waived prior to the start of the season. He then had a short stint of just under a month with the Suns in December, but he appeared in just one game. Now, upon re-joining Toronto, Moreland will get another shot at the NBA, but it doesn't appear as though there will be many minutes available for him.

Moreland signed with the Suns just under a month ago, but he appeared in just one game against Golden State on Dec. 31, where he posted three rebounds in five minutes. Moreland may have a better chance finding minutes in the G League.

Moreland spent training camp with the Raptors and their G League affiliate but was let go prior to the start of the season. The 26-year-old appeared in 67 games for Detroit a season ago, averaging 2.1 points and 4.1 rebounds in 12.0 minutes per game. Moreland doesn't figure to be a major difference-maker in Phoenix, but he could end up seeing semi-regular minutes off the bench as the bottom-dwelling Suns try out some new rotations.

Moreland finished with 12 points (6-8 FG), 12 rebounds, and three assists in 25 minutes during Thursday's 134-119 preseason victory over New Orleans.
Moreland came through with a nice double-double in 25 minutes during Thursday high-scoring victory over the Pelicans. Moreland had some flashes last season while playing for the Pistons and will hope to receive more of an opportunity playing for the Raptors. He appears to be ahead of Greg Monroe in the pecking order but is still a long way off having any real fantasy value.

Moreland signed a partially-guaranteed contract with the Raptors on Tuesday, Michael Scotto of The Athletic reports.
Moreland had a career year with Detroit last season, playing in 67 games and averaging 2.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.2 assists across 12.0 minutes. While those numbers weren't overly impressive, he had previously played in 11 total games in two prior seasons, so his involvement was still encouraging nonetheless. Still, the Pistons opted to let him walk this season and Moreland will now head to training camp with Toronto. If he makes the team, Moreland would provide some depth up front, but he'd be highly unlikely to make a fantasy impact in most formats.

Eric Moreland: To be waived by Detroit
Moreland was waived by the Pistons on Sunday, Rod Beard of The Detroit News reports.
Moreland put together his best season as a professional in 2017-18 with the Pistons, playing a career-high 67 games while averaging 2.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.2 assists across 12.0 minutes. However, Detroit opted to add fellow big man Zaza Pachulia this offseason, so Moreland became expendable and has now been released. Considering he's a capable backup, Moreland should field plenty of interest on the open free agent market, though no matter where he ends up, the 6-foot-10 forward likely won't become relevant in fantasy leagues.

Pistons' Eric Moreland: Spectacular in season finale
Moreland had 16 points (8-12 FG), 17 rebounds, four assists, four steals and four blocks in 40 minutes during Wednesday's 119-87 victory over the Bulls.
Moreland did his best Andre Drummond impression in Wednesday's thumping of the Bulls, recording multiple career-highs in the process. Drummond was resting and Moreland took full advantage, recording the second double-double of his career. He should find himself on the Pistons roster next season and despite his strong recent play, he is going to be second-fiddle to Drummond.

Pistons' Eric Moreland: Starting at center Monday
Moreland will start at center for Monday's game against the Raptors, James Edwards of The Athletic reports.
The Pistons are set to be without both Blake Griffin (ankle) and Andre Drummond (Achilles) on Monday, so Moreland will shift into the top unit and should see a hefty workload overall. That makes him one of the more intriguing value plays for Monday's DFS slate. Along with Moreland, Henry Ellenson is expected to see an increased role in the frontcourt.

Pistons' Eric Moreland: Double-doubles Wednesday
Moreland produced 10 points (5-8 FG, 0-3 FT), 12 rebounds and six assists across 21 minutes in Wednesday's 110-87 win over the Pistons.
Coach Stan Van Gundy said Moreland would be in line for more minutes in an attempt to help Blake Griffin and Andre Drummond get some more rest, and he did not disappoint Wednesday night with his time. It was his first double-double of the season and although he shot poorly from the charity stripe, he threw in six assists to his stat line, something that was unexpected from the big man on what turned out to be a career night.

Pistons' Eric Moreland: Could be set for increased minutes
Coach Stan Van Gundy implied that Moreland will see increased minutes off the bench over the next two weeks, Rod Beard of the Detroit News reports.
The Pistons are entering a difficult stretch in their schedule, with six games in the next nine days. In an effort to avoid overworking Andre Drummond and Blake Griffin, Van Gundy told the media Saturday that he'll look to find more minutes for Moreland as the backup center. However, considering Moreland has only appeared in four of the Pistons' last nine games and is averaging only 4.8 minutes in those four appearances, he's still unlikely to be a significant fantasy contributor.
