  • Trail Blazers' Devonte' Graham: Let go by Portland

The Trail Blazers waived Graham on Thursday. Despite spending the preseason and training camp with the Trail Blazers, Graham was unable to make the regular-season roster. He will now enter the 2024-25 season as a free agent.

  • Trail Blazers' Devonte' Graham: Inks deal with Portland

The Trail Blazers signed Graham to a non-guaranteed, one-year deal Tuesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Graham was recently traded to the Hornets from the Spurs, and he was waived before striking a deal with the Blazers in free agency. The 29-year-old appeared in only 23 games for San Antonio last season, during which he averaged 5.0 points, 2.1 assists and 1.6 rebounds with a career-low 13.6 minutes. Graham could potentially revitalize his career with the rebuilding club; however, he will likely have to compete for minutes with Anfernee Simons, Dalano Banton, Shaedon Sharpe and Kris Murray.

  • Spurs' Devonte' Graham: Time in San Antonio ends

The Spurs are trading Graham and a second-round pick to the Hornets on Saturday, and he is expected to be waived and become a free agent, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Graham will be traded from the Spurs after a little over a season with the club. The 29-year-old played in just 23 games last season, during which he averaged 5.0 points, 2.1 assists and 1.6 rebounds across a career-low 13.6 minutes. Graham will now have the opportunity to seek a contract elsewhere to potentially revitalize his career.

  • Spurs' Devonte' Graham: Rare appearance in win

Graham closed with eight points (3-4 FG, 2-2 3Pt), two rebounds and one steal across 11 minutes during Saturday's 126-113 victory over Golden State. Graham slid back into the rotation, making his first appearance in almost a month. Given he has played only 13 games all season, it's hard to envision Graham having any sustainable value. However, should the Spurs opt to rest their primary pieces down the stretch, he might be someone to monitor given his ability to score in bunches when afforded meaningful minutes.

  • Spurs' Devonte' Graham: Will be available Sunday

Graham (illness) will be available for Sunday's game against Boston. Graham is usually on the fringe of the rotation for the Spurs, so his status doesn't carry many fantasy implications. His next chance to suit up will come Tuesday in Memphis.

  • Spurs' Devonte' Graham: Probable for Sunday

Graham (illness) is probable for Sunday's game against Boston, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports. Graham has made only three appearances in December, so his status doesn't carry many fantasy implications.

  • Spurs' Devonte' Graham: Remains out Friday

Graham (illness), who has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Trail Blazers, will remain sidelined for Friday's matchup in Portland, Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express-News reports. Graham didn't travel with the Spurs for their trip to Portland, so he'll be sidelined for both halves of the team's back-to-back set. His next chance to suit up will be Sunday against the Celtics, but his absence shouldn't significantly impact San Antonio's rotation.

  • Spurs' Devonte' Graham: Unavailable Thursday

Graham won't play in Thursday's game against Portland due to illness, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports. Graham will miss the first leg of the Spurs back-to-back road set in Portland on Thursday due to a non-COVID illness. Considering Graham has appeared in just six games this season, his absence likely won't have much impact on San Antonio's rotation.

  • Spurs' Devonte' Graham: Gets opportunity Tuesday

Graham ended Tuesday's 123-87 loss to Oklahoma City with four points (1-3 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT), one rebound and seven assists across 17 minutes. With Keldon Johnson (knee) and Tre Jones (hamstring) unavailable, Graham made his second appearance of the season. The veteran guard made the most of his opportunity as a playmaker, dishing out seven assists, but he doesn't have much fantasy value moving forward, especially if Johnson and Jones return to action soon.

  • Spurs' Devonte' Graham: Plays 12 minutes

Graham registered two points (0-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound, one assist, one block and two steals across 12 minutes during Monday's 152-111 loss to the Pacers. This was Graham's first playing time of the season, as he's currently buried on the depth chart. It doesn't help his case that Jeremy Sochan was moved to the backcourt, but Graham could continue playing a rotational role while Devin Vassell (groin) is sidelined.

  • Spurs' Devonte' Graham: Suspended two games

The NBA announced Wednesday that Graham has been suspended two games without pay for pleading guilty to a misdemeanor charge of impaired driving stemming from his July 2022 arrest. Graham's arrest dates back to his time with the Pelicans, with whom he spent the 2021-22 season and most of the 2022-23 campaign prior to being dealt to the Spurs in February. In 20 appearances after arriving in San Antonio, the 28-year-old guard averaged 13.0 points, 4.0 assists and 2.5 rebounds in 26.4 minutes per contest. With the Spurs adding Cameron Payne to the roster this offseason and with Devin Vassell back healthy after missing most of the second half of the the past season, Graham is expected to be a depth piece in the backcourt when he returns from his suspension.

  • Spurs' Devonte' Graham: Out Thursday

Graham has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Trail Blazers due to a left adductor strain. It'll be interesting to see if Graham, a four-year vet, returns for either of San Antonio's final two games after Thursday given the Spurs' current record of 20-59. With him on the sidelines for Thursday's game, guys like Tre Jones and Malaki Branham should get all the run they can handle.

  • Spurs' Devonte' Graham: Gets back on track Wednesday

Graham posted 17 points (5-10 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, six assists and one block over 24 minutes during Wednesday's 128-117 loss to the Jazz. Graham had scored a total of just seven points in his past two games, but that cold stretch was more of a deviation from what has been the norm for him over the past couple of months. In 17 appearances since Feb. 10, Graham is averaging 14.2 points, 4.4 assists and 2.7 rebounds per contest. However, Graham was more efficient than usual from the field Wednesday, connecting on half of his tries from the field and three of his seven from deep, both well above his season efficiency marks.

  • Spurs' Devonte' Graham: Officially available Friday

Graham (quad) will take the floor Friday versus the Wizards. Graham initially held a probable designation for the contest, so his upgrade to available doesn't come as a surprise. Tre Jones (foot) will also rejoin the action after taking the previous game off, so Graham should fit into his usual bench role for the Spurs.

  • Spurs' Devonte' Graham: Likely to play Friday

Graham (quadriceps) is probable for Friday's game against Washington, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports. Graham sat out Wednesday against Milwaukee due to right quad injury management, but he'll likely be able to return to action two days later. He came off the bench Tuesday against the Pelicans and recorded 15 points, two rebounds and one assist in 24 minutes.

  • Spurs' Devonte' Graham: Won't play Wednesday

Graham is out for Wednesday's game versus the Bucks due to right quad injury management, Ty Jager of Fansided's Air Alamo reports. Graham joins Tre Jones (rest), Romeo Langford (thigh) and Doug McDermott (hip) in sitting out the second leg of the Spurs' back-to-back Wednesday. Graham should be good to go for Friday's matchup with Washington.

  • Spurs' Devonte' Graham: Rough shooting night Tuesday

Graham ended Tuesday's 119-84 loss to New Orleans with 15 points (4-12 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 4-7 FT), two rebounds and one assist over 24 minutes. Graham returned after a two-game absence due to a quadriceps injury, logging 24 minutes off the bench. Although he ended with 15 points, it took him a lot of shots to get there. Efficiency has never been a strength for Graham and that was on full display here. He remains a player to consider, even in 12-team formats, should you be in need of points and threes.
