Turner finished Monday's 129-126 loss to Washington with nine points (3-10 FG, 3-8 3Pt), three rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal across 26 minutes.
Turner has now recorded six straight games with a block, averaging 12.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.5 steals and 1.8 blocks in that span. While his shooting numbers could use a little improvement (31.6 percent from three in those six games), Turner figures to remain an important contributor in Milwaukee's offense.

Turner finished just two boards away from recording what would've been his third double-double in his last four appearances. The veteran big man has been tasked with handling a bigger workload on offense due to the absence of Giannis Antetokounmpo (groin), but the results had been inconsistent until this outing. This 24-point output was a new season-high mark for Turner, but he's cleared the 20-point mark just three times all season long. Turner can deliver steady numbers, but he's not expected to carry the Bucks' offense any time soon, especially with the emergence of Ryan Rollins as a reliable go-to offensive weapon this season.

Bucks' Myles Turner: Double-doubles but shoots poorly

Turner didn't have his best shooting performance in this contest, but he ended up with a double-double for the first time in the 2025-26 campaign. The shooting woes aren't much of an issue as long as Turner can be an effective two-way presence in the frontcourt, something that is needed desperately due to the absence of Giannis Antetokounmpo (groin). Turner has struggled to adjust to the Bucks' offensive scheme early on, which is understandable given that he spent his entire career with another franchise before joining Milwaukee in the offseason. However, the big man has been showing signs of turning things around of late. This 23-point output was a season-high mark for Turner, and he's scored in double digits in back-to-back games for the first time this season. Turner is averaging 12.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 1.8 blocks per game in four November appearances.

Turner did not capitalize on playing his former team in the scoring department but was able to block five shots and ultimately get the win. Turner delivered another underwhelming performance, continuing his slow start to the season. Although he has blocked at least two shots in all four games, he is averaging just 8.3 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.5 blocks and 1.3 three-pointers in 29.6 minutes per game. While it has been frustrating, adjusting to a new team can take some time, even for the best players. Look for Turner to get back on track, starting with Thursday's matchup with the Warriors.
