  • Rashad Vaughn: Stays on bench Wednesday

Vaughn (groin) was a DNP-CD in Wednesday's win over Maine.

Vaughn missed the final games of the regular season for the Charge, and even though he was deemed healthy in this one, he stayed on the bench. Don't expect him to see regular minutes off the bench in the playoffs.

  • Rashad Vaughn: Dealing with groin injury

Vaughn didn't play Sunday against Long Island due to a groin injury.

Vaughn has had some solid games but is not a regular starter for the Charge. The severity of the injury is unknown, so it remains to be seen if he'll be able to return to action before the end of the regular season.

  • Rashad Vaughn: Goes for 22 off bench

Vaughn recorded 22 points (9-17 FG, 4-10 3Pt), three rebounds, an assist and a steal across 33 minutes off the bench in Wednesday's loss to Motor City.

Vaughn hasn't been the most consistent producer for the Charge this season, and this was just the second time he has surpassed the 20-point mark in the current campaign. Vaughn is averaging 9.5 points per game across 23 regular-season appearances.

  • Rashad Vaughn: Logs seven minutes in return

Vaughn (back) delivered three points (1-4 FG, 1-3 3Pt) and an assist across eight minutes off the bench in Thursday's loss to Santa Cruz.

Vaughn logged only seven minutes, but the positive is that he was healthy following an extended absence due to a back injury. He should continue to hold a minimal role as a substitute.

  • Rashad Vaughn: Dealing with back injury

Vaughn didn't play Saturday against Lakeland due to a back injury.

It's unclear what happened with Vaughn or when he sustained the injury, but his absence shouldn't affect the team too much since he holds a secondary role off the bench for the Charge.

  • Rashad Vaughn: Scores 16 points off bench

Vaughn notched 16 points (6-10 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 0-1 3Pt), seven rebounds and two steals across 32 minutes off the bench in Friday's loss to Maine.

Vaughn has been forced to play a bench role most of the season, but he's taking advantage of increased minutes and has been putting up solid numbers of late. He's scored in double digits in five of his last seven contests, something he did just five times in the opening month of the regular season.

  • Rashad Vaughn: Puts up 10 points off bench

Vaughn notched 10 points (4-7 FG, 2-4 3Pt), three rebounds and two steals across 20 minutes off the bench in Tuesday's loss to the Skyhawks.

Vaughn was one of two bench players that reached the 20-minute mark, but he made the most of his minutes and posted a double-digit scoring appearance. Vaughn is averaging just 8.1 points per game and has yet to start a game this season for the Charge, however, so he doesn't figure to have a significant impact on a game-to-game basis.

  • Rashad Vaughn: Notches 16 off bench

Vaughn mustered 16 points (6-11 FG, 4-7 3Pt), nine rebounds and two assists across 27 minutes off the bench in Monday's win over Westchester.

Vaughn was the only Cleveland player who scored in double digits off the bench, and he ended as the Charge's third-best scorer in a solid win. This was a step in the right direction after he notched just three points in the season opener against Greensboro on Dec. 28.

  • Rashad Vaughn: Scores eight points off bench

Vaughn delivered eight points (3-6 FG, 2-4 3Pt), six rebounds, three steals and two assists across 24 minutes off the bench in Wednesday's win over the Mad Ants.

Vaughn has struggled to make a consistent impact for the Charge this season, and while he remains a reliable rotation piece for head coach Mike Gerrity, he's not producing enough to justify a bigger role off the bench or a move to the starting unit. Vaughn is only averaging 3.8 points per game this season.

  • Rashad Vaughn: Returns to Charge

Vaughn was chosen in the second round of the 2022 G League Draft by the Charge.

A first-round pick in the 2015 NBA Draft, Vaughn has struggled to settle as a regular NBA player and has spent the past few seasons playing overseas. However, he's ready for another go around stateside after averaging 14.4 points and 4.6 rebounds per game with Lavrio, of the Greece First Division, in 2021-22. After playing for the organization across four games in the 2015-16 season, this will be his second stint with the Charge.

  • Rashad Vaughn: Heads to Adriatic League

Vaughn signed a one-year contract Tuesday with Adriatic League club KK Igokea of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The 22-year-old shooting guard will head overseas for the first time in his career after failing to establish himself as an NBA-caliber player since being selected by the Bucks in the first round in the 2015 draft. Vaughn appeared in 139 games with the Bucks, Nets and Magic between 2015-16 and 2017-18 before spending the past season in the G League.

  • Rashad Vaughn: Registers third double-double this season

Vaughn posted 23 points (9-15 FG, 5-9 3Pt), 11 rebounds, six assists and one steal in the 121-111 loss Friday to Windy City.

Not only did Vaughn lead the team in scoring Friday, it was also just his third double-double this season. The fact the 2015 first-round pick got the start at power forward should indicate the sheer lack of numbers on the side of the Blue Coats, as eight of the nine players who took the court Friday played 20 or more minutes.

  • Rashad Vaughn: Continues recent scoring explosion

Vaughn generated 23 points (8-22 FG, 6-15 3Pt, 1-1 FT), seven rebounds and two assists in the loss Friday to the Red Claws.

Vaughn has quietly turned into one of the Blue Coats best players, averaging 18.8 points with the team since being acquired in the beginning of January. The former first-round pick is attempting significantly more three-pointers as opposed to his time with the Legends (7.2 compared to 5.9 threes in 21 games with Texas) which is at least partially the reason Vaughn has molded into the consistent scorer he's demonstrated with Delaware.

  • Rashad Vaughn: Scores 27 in start at small forward

Vaughn tallied 27 points (10-17 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 5-6 FT), four rebounds and four assists in the loss Friday to the Skyforce.

Vaughn got the spot start at small forward with Haywood Highsmith, Shake Milton and Norvel Pelle all inactive and proceeded to post a season-high with his new team. In six games with the Blue Coats this season, Vaughn is averaging 16.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 0.9 steals.

  • Rashad Vaughn: Traded to Blue Coats

Vaughn was traded from the Texas Legends to the Delaware Blue Coats.

In 21 games with the Legends this season, Vaughn averaged 13.4 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.8 assists across 24.7 minutes. The former first-round pick isn't projected to see a significant uptick in minutes with his new team.

  • Rashad Vaughn: 22 points despite loss

Vaughn scored 22 points and posted six rebounds to go along with four assists in the loss Wednesday to Stockton.

Vaughn has only been averaging 26 minutes through the first six games of the G-League season, so it was a bit of a surprise to see him register 36 on Wednesday. 8-for-23 from the field isn't exactly a sterling figure, but Vaughn did score a game-high 22 points so it's difficult to argue with the results. Fantasy owners should monitor his workload against the Blue on Friday.

  • Rashad Vaughn: Released by Mavericks

Vaughn was waived by the Mavericks on Thursday, Bobby Karalla of Mavs.com reports.

Vaughn lasted just a few days on the roster, but he was never actually expected to make the team. Instead, the Mavericks were likely just trying to snag Vaughn's G-League rights, so expect the guard to now join the team's affiliate to start the year.

  • Mavericks' Rashad Vaughn: Signs with Mavericks

Vaughn signed a contract with the Mavericks on Monday, Bobby Karalla of Mavs.com reports.

Vaughn has bounced around the NBA of late and spent time with Brooklyn, Milwaukee and Orlando last season. He'll now get a shot with the Mavericks, but considering how late he was added to the roster during the team's preseason schedule, it seems highly unlikely that he's able to earn a final roster spot.

  • Heat's Rashad Vaughn: Solid shooting performance in loss

Vaughn produced 11 points (4-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-4 FT), four assists, two rebounds, two steals and one block across 25 minutes during the Heat's 110-84 loss to the Pelicans in a Las Vegas Summer League contest Saturday.

The fourth-year wing was sharp from the field while checking off all the other boxes on the stat sheet as well. Vaughn has had limited opportunity in his first three NBA seasons, topping out at 14.3 minutes per contest in his rookie 2015-16 campaign in Milwaukee. Still only 21 years of age, he'll look to parlay an impressive summer league showing into a training camp invite.

  • Rashad Vaughn: Lands summer league invite from Heat

Vaughn will play for the Heat's summer league team, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.

Vaughn started last season with the Bucks, but was traded to the Nets in February and also made a brief stint with the Magic after being waived by Brooklyn. The 21-year-old struggled to make much of an impact no matter where he was playing, which is why he's currently without a team. In hopes of earning a training camp invite, Vaughn will join the Heat for summer league in July, though he's still got a long way to go before potentially nabbing a regular-season roster spot.
