Chris McCullough: Signs with Chinese club
McCullough will sign a contract with the Shanxi Brave Dragons of the Chinese Basketball Association, Emiliano Carchia of Sportando reports.
McCullough didn't take long to find a new home, as he lands a deal in China just one day after being released by the Pistons. He'll look to light up the CBA during the upcoming campaign with the hope of peaking some other NBA team's interest. McCullough has played 59 total NBA games in three years between the Nets and Wizards.

McCullough was waived by the Pistons on Sunday, James Edwards of The Athletic reports.
McCullough was simply with the Pistons on a training camp deal and was always considered a long shot to make the final roster. He'll look for another potential suitor elsewhere in the NBA, but if there's a lack of interest, McCullough could start the season in the G-League.

Pistons' Chris McCullough: Signs with Detroit
McCullough signed a contract with the Pistons on Sunday, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports.
The contract is just for training camp, but McCullough is a candidate who could impress during the preseason and find a way onto Detroit's 15-man roster. The former Syracuse standout played in 19 games for the Wizards last season and would most likely provide depth behind Blake Griffin, Jon Leuer and Henry Ellenson if he does make the team.

Chris McCullough: Team-high scoring haul off bench
McCullough produced 20 points (8-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-5 FT), eight rebounds and three blocks across 22 minutes during the 76ers' 87-75 loss to the Wizards in a Las Vegas Summer League contest Monday.
The former first-round pick of the Nets had come up empty on the scoreboard in his first summer game, so Monday's tally was a significant improvement. McCullough spent some time in both the G-League and with the Wizards last season, and he'll look to parlay a strong performance in Vegas into a chance to eventually garner a roster spot with the Sixers from the beginning of the regular season.

76ers' Chris McCullough: Joining Philly for summer league
McCullough, an unrestricted free agent, will play for the 76ers during summer league, Mike Waters of Syracuse.com reports.
McCullough was drafted 29th overall by the Nets in 2015, but has played just 59 games in the NBA since then. He spent all of last season with the Wizards' organization, bouncing back and forth between the NBA and the G-League. The 6-foot-11 forward played 90 total minutes with Washington, recording 46 points, 25 rebounds and five blocks while shooting 42.9 percent from the field. Through summer league, McCullough will look to prove he's worth an NBA roster spot. At the very least, it seems like he'll end up as a G-League contributor once again.

The 23-year-old has shuttled back and forth from the Wizards to the G-League all season, but he hasn't been an impact player at the NBA level. In the month of February, McCollugh appeared in only four games, logging just 11 total minutes.

McCullough has struggled to find a role with the Wizards, averaging just 5.4 minutes played across 12 contests. He's gotten more run in the G-League, where he posts 12.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.2 steals, 1.6 assists and 1.2 blocks across 25.2 minutes per contest.

McCullough was traded to the Wizards on Wednesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical reports.
McCullough will join Bojan Bogdanovic in Washington, while the Wizards will send Andrew Nicholson and a 2017 first-round pick to Brooklyn. The 22-year-old McCullough has appeared sparingly in only 14 games for the Nets this season and has spent considerable time in the D-League. He's viewed as somewhat of a project player but showed enough potential to warrant a first-round selection in the 2015 draft.
