Pacers' Thomas Bryant: Solid showing in spot start
Bryant closed Saturday's 124-117 loss to the Lakers with 13 points (6-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt), eight rebounds and four assists in 23 minutes.
Myles Turner (neck) missed his first game after getting injured Thursday, but Bryant didn't see a significant increase in his workload despite getting the start -- Obi Toppin played 22 minutes off the bench as the duo split the minutes in the paint. Bryant did lead the Pacers in rebounds on the afternoon, while the four assists tied his season high -- a mark he set in Indiana's last game, after Turner exited the court early in the first quarter. If Turner continues to be held out, Bryant should see a small bump in his numbers, but starter-level minutes and production will likely elude him.

Pacers' Thomas Bryant: Starting Saturday vs. LAL
Bryant is in the Pacers' starting lineup against the Lakers on Saturday, Ryan Ward of LakersNation.com reports.
Bryant will make his third start of the year Saturday due to the absence of Myles Turner (neck). With Turner out and Bryant starting, Obi Toppin and Enrique Freeman could see some playing time at center when the Pacers go with a small-ball lineup. Bryant finished Thursday's 119-112 win over the Clippers with 12 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and one block over 28 minutes.

Pacers' Thomas Bryant: Nabs first double-double of year
Bryant registered 12 points (4-10 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, four assists and one block across 28 minutes off the bench during Thursday's 119-112 victory over the Clippers.
The double-double was Bryant's first of the season, as the 27-year-old center took advantage of an opportunity for a bigger role after Myles Turner (concussion) headed to the locker room after playing only six minutes. Obi Toppin also wound up seeing 28 minutes off the bench Thursday, and both players could be handed larger workloads if Turner misses additional time.

Pacers' Thomas Bryant: Moves back to bench Tuesday
Bryant is coming off the bench in Tuesday's game against the Trail Blazers, Dustin Dopirak of The Indianapolis Star reports.
Following Monday's spot start against Utah, Bryant will retreat to Indiana's bench in the return of Myles Turner (ankle) on Tuesday. Bryant has averaged 6.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, 0.9 assists and 0.9 threes in 13.4 minutes while shooting 43.6 percent from deep over 20 appearances from the Pacers' second unit in 2024-25.

Pacers' Thomas Bryant: Starting Monday vs. Utah
Bryant is in the Pacers' starting lineup against the Jazz on Monday.
Bryant will make his second start of the 2024-25 campaign Monday due to the absence of Myles Turner (ankle). Bryant has averaged 9.0 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.2 assists over 15.6 minutes per game over his last five outings.

Pacers' Thomas Bryant: Reverts to bench against Warriors
Bryant is not in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Warriors.
After scoring a season-high 22 points during his spot start in Wednesday's win over the Bulls, Bryant is unsurprisingly heading back to the second unit in Myles Turner's (illness) return. Bryant's short-term fantasy appeal appears to have subsided for the time being, as he's averaged just 5.1 points, 3.2 rebounds, 0.8 assists and 0.7 threes in 11.5 minutes over 11 games off Indiana's bench this season.

Pacers' Thomas Bryant: Season-high 22 points as starter
Bryant logged 22 points (9-16 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight boards, two steals and an assist across 28 minutes of play in Wednesday's win over the Bulls.
With Myles Turner (illness) sidelined, Bryant got his first start of the season. He delivered in a huge way, dropping a season high in points and collecting his second-highest rebound total of the season. Head coach Rick Carlisle and Bryant's teammates clearly had a lot of trust in him to step up, given the fact that he took more shots than franchise cornerstone Tyrese Haliburton and rotation mainstays Andrew Nembhard and Bennedict Mathurin. Wednesday's strong showing could lead to more opportunity for Bryant even once Turner returns to the lineup, although it remains to be seen whether he'll be able to remain relevant from a fantasy perspective.

Pacers' Thomas Bryant: Joining first unit sans Turner
Bryant will start Wednesday's game against the Bulls, Tony East of WTHR Channel 13 Indianapolis reports.
Bryant is slated to make his first appearance as a starter in 2024-25, joining the first unit in place of Myles Turner (illness) at center Wednesday. Bryant has averaged 6.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 0.8 threes in 12.7 minutes across his last six contests but should experience an uptick in playing time against Chicago, putting him in the streaming mix in fantasy leagues.

Pacers' Thomas Bryant: Nearly non-existent in loss
Bryant ended Tuesday's 120-112 loss to the Bucks with three points (1-1 FG, 1-1 FT) and two rebounds across five minutes.
Bryant saw just five minutes, the fewest he has played since joining Indiana. Despite the fact he is the team's only backup center option, the Pacers opted to run with a number of small-ball lineups, limiting Bryant's opportunities. While he should remain a part of the rotation, it is clear he is not being prioritized at this point.

Pacers' Thomas Bryant: Season-high 12 points off bench
Bryant accumulated 12 points (5-7 FG, 2-4 3Pt), seven rebounds, one block and one steal across 19 minutes during Friday's 142-105 loss to Boston.
Bryant took on the backup center role in the absence of small-ball five Obi Toppin (ankle), providing decent production in the form of a season-high 12 points in just 19 minutes off the bench Friday. Bryant has now made six appearances since latching on with Indiana, averaging a mere 4.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, 0.5 assists, 0.5 steals, 0.5 blocks and 0.5 three-pointers in 11.3 minutes for the Pacers in 2024-25. Even with Toppin's status uncertain for Sunday's rematch with the Celtics, Bryant still doesn't appear likely to handle enough minutes to make a significant impact for fantasy managers in the vast majority of leagues.

Pacers' Thomas Bryant: Cleared for team debut
Bryant will be available to make his Pacers debut in Sunday's game against the Pelicans, Tony East of SI.com reports.
Though he was outside of Miami's rotation for much of the season before being traded to Indiana on Friday, Bryant has a clearer path to consistent playing time with the Pacers. With Isaiah Jackson (Achilles) and James Wiseman (Achilles) out for the season, Bryant will compete with undersized centers Obi Toppin and Enrique Freeman for minutes behind starter Myles Turner.

Pacers' Thomas Bryant: Shipped to Indiana
The Pacers acquired Bryant from the Heat on Friday in exchange for a future second-round pick swap, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Bryant had been an irregular part of Miami's rotation this season with Kevin Love and Kel'el Ware on hand to fill backup center minutes behind Bam Adebayo, but Bryant will help address a need in Indiana. The Pacers have already lost their top two backup options at center -- Isaiah Jackson (Achilles) and James Wiseman (Achilles) -- to season-ending injuries, so Bryant could have a clear path to serving as Myles Turner's primary understudy. His primary competition will come from Obi Toppin and Enrique Freeman, both of whom are undersized for the center spot and better suited for power forward.

Heat's Thomas Bryant: Garbage-time special Wednesday
Bryant notched eight points (2-6 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and two blocks in nine minutes during Wednesday's 134-93 win over the Lakers.
Bryant dusted himself off and moved into the rotation, albeit during the final minutes of a 40-point blowout. After starting the season as the backup behind Bam Adebayo, Bryant has since struggled to be an every-night part of the rotation. At this point, it would likely take an injury to Adebayo for Bryant to even come close to being a noteworthy asset.

Heat's Thomas Bryant: Season-low two points in loss
Bryant chipped in two points (1-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and five rebounds across 12 minutes during Monday's 111-110 loss to the Kings.
Bryant scored a season-low two points while tying his lowest mark in playing time Monday. The 27-year-old has served as the primary backup to Bam Adebayo with Kevin Love (conditioning) working his way back to game action. However, Bryant should not be considered a viable fantasy option as he will likely have to compete for minutes with Love and Haywood Highsmith in the frontcourt.

Heat's Thomas Bryant: Muted effort Monday
Bryant logged four points (1-4 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT) and two rebounds over 13 minutes during Monday's 106-98 win over Detroit.
Bryant continues to play as the primary backup behind Bam Adebayo, playing limited minutes off the bench. He has been a non-factor to this point, offering nothing in the way of tangible production. Kel'el Ware put together a strong Summer League and preseason, which could eventually stand for something when it comes to who should be the backup center. While the position is currently Bryant's to lose, he is by no means a player managers need to concern themselves with.

Heat's Thomas Bryant: Reverts to bench
Bryant won't start Wednesday's regular-season opener against the Magic.
With most of the Heat's regulars resting during the preseason finale, Bryant drew a spot start. However, aside from Josh Richardson (shoulder), the Heat are healthy heading into the regular season, so Bryant isn't guaranteed playing time on Opening Night.

Heat's Thomas Bryant: Starting against Grizzlies
Bryant is in the starting lineup for Friday's preseason game against the Grizzlies.
The Heat are resting most of their regulars in the preseason finale since the start of the regular season is right around the corner. Bam Adebayo (rest) is among the players who won't feature in this one, so Bryant will start at center over rookie Kel'el Ware.
