Stone had missed the Wolves' previous game with an undisclosed injury, but he evidently was able to shake off the injury Friday. Stone will continue to reprise his role as depth along the frontcourt for the Wolves.

Stone played in the previous game Friday against the Westchester Knicks, albeit only eight minutes, so the injury might not be overly serious. The Wolves play two more games before the start of the new year, so there's a possibility Stone could play at some point this weekend.

Diamond Stone: Joins Iowa Wolves
Stone signed a G League contract Monday and will join the Iowa Wolves, Adam Johnson of 2 Ways 10 Days reports.
Stone spent time in the G League a season ago but failed to catch on with an NBA team and will now join the Iowa Wolves, who hold his player rights. The former Maryland standout has intriguing size and touch but hasn't shown the overall ability to be a rotation player at the NBA level.

Jazz's Diamond Stone: Records double-double in win
Stone produced 14 points (4-8 FG, 6-8 FT), 11 rebounds, two blocked shots and an assist across 24 minutes in Thursday's 75-70 Sumeer League playoff win over the Magic.
Stone appears to be a virtual lock to snag a training camp slot after putting together an impressive campaign in Las Vegas. A second-round pick by the Clippers, Stone most recently played with Utah's G-League squad, and the Maryland product has shown he has the goods to make it in the NBA. Utah's current roster doesn't avail him of many opportunities, so it remains to be seen if he'll find himself with the Jazz in October.

Jazz's Diamond Stone: Tallies 17 points in Tuesday's start
Stone finished Tuesday's 90-98 summer league loss to the Heat with 17 points (7-11 FG, 3-5 FT), seven rebounds and one assist across 24 minutes.
Stone was a force offensively Tuesday and knocked down an efficient 63.6 percent of his 11 field goal attempts. That resulted in 17 points, which matched first-round draft pick Grayson Allen for a team-high. Stone's scoring production should put him in play for summer league DFS purposes on any given night and if he continues to up his totals on the boards like he did Tuesday, his value will only increase.

Jazz's Diamond Stone: Paces second unit in scoring Sunday
Stone delivered 14 points (5-9 FG, 4-4 FT), two rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block across 21 minutes in the Jazz's 90-85 win over the Knicks in a Las Vegas Summer League contest Sunday.
A 2016 second-round pick of the Clippers, Stone is trying to carve out a training camp invite at a minimum. The third-year big man logged 31 games (13 starts) with the Salt Lake City Stars of the G-League last season, averaging 16.0 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.1 assists across 24.3 minutes. Stone averaged a modest 13.0 minutes over two games in the Utah Summer League, so he'll look to carve out additional opportunity during Las Vegas contests.

Diamond Stone: Back on track
Stone recorded 23 points (9-18 FG, 5-6 FT), 12 rebounds, four blocks and one steal during Friday's narrow 113-112 win over Northern Arizona.
The big-man from Maryland got back on track after two mediocre games and produced his fourth double-double this season. Lately, Stone has been rebounding at a better rate than earlier in the season, as he is now averaging 6.2 rebounds per game to go along with 14.6 points.

Stone did not play Tuesday against Santa Cruz due to an illness.
The former Maryland center is averaging 13.9 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.0 assist per game during his second year in the G-League. Moving forward, it's uncertain when Stone is expected to return, although the Stars don't play until Feb. 21 due to the All-Star break.

The former Maryland product was one point away Tuesday from tying his season high, as he is averaging 13.2 points per game. Being a consistent double-figure scorer, the 6-11 center has only provided one double-double on the season while averaging just 5.0 rebounds per game.

Diamond Stone: Released by Bulls
Stone was waived by the Bulls on Monday, Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports reports.
Stone has been all over the place this offseason, temporarily spending time with the Clippers, Hawks and Bulls. Chicago needed to address some depth issues at point guard due to a plethora of injuries, so Stone had to be waived in order to claim Kay Felder off waivers from the Cavaliers. Stone could have to start the upcoming campaign in the G-League with the regular season starting on Tuesday.

Bulls' Diamond Stone: Signs contract with Bulls
Stone signed a contract with the Bulls on Thursday.
Stone, who was drafted by the Clippers with the 40th overall pick of the 2016 NBA Draft, struggled to play much of a factor during his rookie season. He saw action in just seven games, averaging a meager 3.4 minutes. However, the 20-year-old big man still has some upside and he'll be joining one of the weaker rosters in the league. That would likely give Stone a chance to see an uptick in minutes if he were to ultimately make the team. His contract is more than likely just a training camp deal, so he'll still have to play well throughout the preseason to earn a spot on the roster. There's a chance he ends up with the team's G-League affiliate when all is said and done. He impressed in 13 games at the G-League level last season, averaging 16.2 points and 7.0 rebounds across 21.7 minutes.

Diamond Stone: Waived by Hawks
Stone was waived Monday by the Hawks, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Stone was acquired by the Hawks in a three-way trade with the Clippers and Nuggets after appearing in just seven games for Los Angeles over the course of his rookie season. He spent a good amount of time in the G League as well, playing in 13 games and averaging 16.2 points and 7.0 rebounds per game. He'll likely return to the G League next season tin an effort to make it back into the NBA.

Hawks' Diamond Stone: Traded to Atlanta
Stone will be sent to the Hawks in a three-team trade, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.com reports.
In addition to Stone, the Hawks will pick up Jamal Crawford and a first-round pick, while the Clippers receive Danilo Gallinari and the Nuggets get a 2019 second-round pick. Stone likely isn't going to step into a huge role with the move, but the fact that the Hawks are going on a youth movement could mean they make an extra effort to get Stone reps. He'll likely start the year out behind both John Collins and Miles Plumlee in the frontcourt, which should limit his overall fantasy impact.
