Ante Zizic: Headed to Israel
Zizic signed a two-year contract Tuesday with Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv, EuroLeague.net reports.
Zizic was initially believed to be headed to Spanish club Real Madrid after the Cavaliers cleared him to explore opportunities overseas earlier this summer, but he'll instead flee the NBA for Israel. Drafted by the Celtics in the first round of the 2016 NBA Draft, Zizic was dealt to the Cavaliers the following summer as part of the Kyrie Irving blockbuster trade. He spent the past three seasons in Cleveland, averaging 6.0 points and 3.9 rebounds in 13.4 minutes per game over 113 games.

Ante Zizic: Reaches agreement with Spanish club
Zizic came to terms on a contract Wednesday with Spanish club Real Madrid, Sam Amico of SI.com reports.
Zizic isn't scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent until after the 2019-20 season officially concludes, but because the Cavaliers aren't one of the 22 teams heading to Orlando for the resumption of the campaign, the 23-year-old was allowed to field offers outside of the league. While the monetary terms of his deal with Real Madrid aren't known, it's safe to say that Zizic will be in store for a more lucrative contract that he would have fetched in the NBA after he frequently found himself outside of the rotation for a 19-46 Cavaliers squad. At 23 years old, Zizic certainly has time to revisit a return to North America at a later date, though as a traditional back-to-basket center who struggles to block shots and lacks three-point range, he's a less-than-ideal fit in the modern NBA.

Cavaliers' Ante Zizic: Makes return Saturday
Zizic (illness) played nine minutes off the bench in Saturday's 124-105 loss to the Heat, finishing with seven points (3-3 FG, 1-1 FT) and one steal.
Zizic was available in Friday's 113-108 win over the Wizards, but it took an absence from Kevin Love (Achilles) in the second half of the back-to-back set Saturday in order for the 23-year-old to pick up minutes. The appearance was Zizic's first since Jan. 11, as he had been sidelined nearly a month and a half while recovering from a vestibular condition.

Cavaliers' Ante Zizic: Doesn't play Friday
Zizic (illness) dressed for Friday's 113-108 win over the Wizards but didn't see the floor in a coach's decision.
Zizic was cleared to play in the Cavaliers' first game out of the All-Star break after being sidelined with a vestibular condition, but there was no playing time available for him with the team's top four big men (Andre Drummond, Kevin Love, Tristan Thompson and Larry Nance) absorbing all the minutes in the frontcourt. Considering Love had recently dealt with Achilles soreness, there's a good chance he sits Saturday in Miami for the second half of the back-to-back set. If that's the case, Zizic could step back into coach J.B. Bickerstaff's rotation.

Cavaliers' Ante Zizic: Likely to play Friday
Zizic (illness) is probable for Friday's contest against Washington, Kelsey Russo of The Athletic reports.
It appears as though Zizic will finally return to the court Friday following a battle with a vestibular condition. The center hasn't played since logging 10 minutes of action against Denver on Jan. 11.

Cavaliers' Ante Zizic: Still sidelined
Zizic (illness) is listed as out for Sunday's game against the Clippers.
Zizic hasn't played since mid-January due to a vestibular condition and remains without any clear timeline to return to game action. Once he's cleared to play, Zizic will likely find himself outside of the rotation, as Andre Drummond and Tristan Thompson represent the clear top two centers on the roster.

Cavaliers' Ante Zizic: Still sidelined
The Cavaliers list Zizic (illness) as out for Monday's game against the Knicks.
Zizic has been sidelined since mid-January with a vestibular condition, which typically involves systems of vertigo and dizziness. The Cavaliers aren't putting a timeline on Zizic's return, and with no reports indicating the center has even resumed on-court work, there's a good chance he'll remain out through the All-Star break.

Cavaliers' Ante Zizic: Sidelined indefinitely
ZIzic is dealing with a vestibular condition and will remain out indefinitely.
Zizic, who has missed the past five games, will undergo a period of vestibular rehabilitation further evaluate his symptoms, which include nausea and dizziness. A timetable for his return should come into focus once he's cleared to resume basketball activities, but according to Spencer Davies of BasketballInsiders.com, coach John Beilein said Zizic is still "a ways away."

Cavaliers' Ante Zizic: Will miss another game
Zizic (illness) is listed out for Tuesday's game against the Clippers, Kelsey Russo of The Athletic reports.
Zizic will miss his second straight contest due to illness, though with Larry Nance (knee) on track to return, this shouldn't impact Cleveland's rotation all that much. Zizic's next chance to take the court will come Friday in Memphis.

Cavaliers' Ante Zizic: Not playing Monday
Zizic is listed as out for Monday's game against the Lakers with an illness.
While Larry Nance (knee) has been sidelined since Jan. 2, Zizic has been serving as the Cavaliers' backup center, averaging 4.8 points and 6.0 boards in 12.2 minutes over the past five games. With Zizic under the weather Monday, John Henson will presumably step in to fill what scarce minutes are up for grabs behind starter Tristan Thompson.

Cavaliers' Ante Zizic: Double-doubles in loss
Zizic ended with 15 points (6-7 FG, 3-4 FT), 12 rebounds, two assists and one steal in 25 minutes during Sunday's 118-103 loss to the Timberwolves.
Zizic notched season-high totals in both scoring and rebounding, making the most of the Cavaliers playing without their top three frontcourt options in Kevin Love (rest), Tristan Thompson (illness) and Larry Nance (knee). Don't get too excited about this performance, as both Thompson and Love could return Tuesday against the Pistons. However, given the Cavaliers could move more towards their youth at some point, Zizic should be monitored in competitive formats.

Cavaliers' Ante Zizic: Enters rotation Tuesday
Zizic recorded no stats in three minutes during Tuesday's 117-97 loss to Toronto.
Zizic actually made it onto the court for just the second time in the last two weeks. Even with the Cavaliers going for periods without members of their starting frontcourt, Zizic has struggled to play any meaningful minutes. He is not on the fantasy radar at this point.

Cavaliers' Ante Zizic: Doesn't play in Monday's loss
Zizic (DNP-Coach's Decision) didn't see the court in Monday's 108-106 loss to the Nets.
Zizic did not play despite the absences of Kevin Love (back) and John Henson (hamstring). Zizic had averaged 16.0 minutes per game across four recent appearances, but he has now been a healthy scratch in two straight matchups, both of which Love and Henson missed. With the two veterans likely to rejoin the rotation in the near future, Zizic may lack a clearly defined role.

Cavaliers' Ante Zizic: Cleared for Sunday
Zizic (foot) will be available to play Sunday against the 76ers, Joe Vardon of The Athletic reports.
After being upgraded to probable on the injury report that was released Saturday, Zizic will be ready to make his season debut after missing time due to a bout with plantar fasciitis in his left foot. Zizic isn't expected to be a regular rotation player for the Cavaliers, but he'll likely serve as the backup to starting center Tristan Thompson on Sunday with John Henson (hamstring) out and Larry Nance (thumb) listed as doubtful.

Cavaliers' Ante Zizic: Deemed probable
Zizic (foot) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the 76ers.
Zizic looks like he'll be ready to make his season debut Sunday following a bout with plantar fasciitis, though coach John Beilein noted a day earlier that the third-year center would only be available in a limited capacity versus Philadelphia. Once the Cavaliers are at full strength, Zizic likely won't be included in the team's regular rotation. All of Tristan Thompson, Larry Nance (thumb) and John Henson (hamstring) are seemingly ahead of Zizic on the depth chart.

Cavaliers' Ante Zizic: Might play Sunday
Cavaliers coach John Beilein hopes Zizic (foot) will be available to play Sunday against the 76ers but notes that it would be in a limited role, Spencer Davies of Basketball Insiders reports.
Plantar fasciitis in his left foot has prevented Zizic from taking the court thus far. It's not clear what type of role he will occupy once healthy. He appeared in 59 games last season, averaging 7.8 points and 5.4 rebounds in 18.4 minutes.
