Pacers' Ivica Zubac: No timetable for return
Head coach Rick Carlisle said that Zubac (ankle) was a limited participant in Tuesday's practice and that it's going to be "a while" until he returns to game action, Dustin Dopirak of The Indianapolis Star reports.
Zubac was traded from Los Angeles to Indiana on Feb. 5 but has yet to make his Pacers debut due to a left ankle sprain. It appears likely that the 15-40 Pacers will give the big man ample time to ramp up, as they aren't expected to make a postseason push. In the meantime, Jay Huff and Micah Potter should continue to see significant minutes. Zubac should be considered week-to-week until Indiana offers an update on his progress.

Pacers' Ivica Zubac: Out next two games
Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said on The Fan Morning Show on Tuesday that Zubac (ankle) will miss the next two games for Indiana.
After being acquired from the Clippers on Thursday, Zubac's debut continues to be put on hold due to a left ankle sprain. For now, it remains to be seen if Zubac will be able to return right after the All-Star break Feb. 19 against the Wizards.

Pacers' Ivica Zubac: Questionable for Tuesday
Zubac (ankle) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Knicks.
After being acquired from the Clippers on Thursday, Zubac has yet to make his Pacers debut due to a left ankle sprain. Over his final 10 games in Los Angeles, the big man averaged 12.4 points, 12.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists, recording seven double-doubles during that span. If Zubac remains sidelined, Jay Huff is likely to remain in the starting lineup.

Pacers' Ivica Zubac: Dealing with ankle injury
Head coach Rick Carlisle told reporters Friday that Zubac is working through an ankle injury and won't play until Tuesday's game against the Knicks at the very earliest, Tony East of Forbes.com reports.
Thursday's trade between the Clippers and Pacers has not been finalized as all players involved -- including Zubac -- have yet to pass physicals. Carlisle relayed that Zubac could make his Pacers debut Tuesday, but it appears as though the veteran center's absence could extend beyond that depending on the severity of his injury. Jay Huff figures to be the Pacers' starting center for as long as Zubac is sidelined.

Zubac (personal/recently traded) won't play Friday against the Bucks, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.
Zubac was away from the team at the time he was traded from the Clippers while attending to a personal matter, and he won't make his Indiana debut Friday due to the fact that the trade is still being finalized. The big man can be considered questionable for Sunday's matchup in Toronto until further notice.

Zubac (personal) and Kobe Brown are being traded to the Pacers on Thursday in exchange for Bennedict Mathurin (rest), Isaiah Jackson, two first-round picks and one second-round pick, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Zubac should slot in as Indiana's new starting center, but with the move to the 13-38 Pacers, his odds of experiencing a late-season shutdown have gone up exponentially. Zubac's arrival in Indiana will likely crush Jay Huff's fantasy value. The Pacers play Friday in Milwaukee, and for now, Zubac should be considered questionable for that one.

Zubac (personal) will not play Wednesday against the Cavaliers, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.

Zubac was perfect from the field in Sunday's win and anchored the glass with a game-high, season-best 20 rebounds. The 28-year-old now sits at 24 double-doubles through 41 appearances this season. While matching the 59 double-doubles he posted in the 2024-25 regular season may be a tall task, Zubac has firmly established himself as a reliable and consistent presence on the boards.

Zubac notched his fifth straight double-double and 23rd of the season, which seems to be like clockwork for the big man as he anchors down the center position for the Clippers.
