Kings' Troy Williams: Strong effort in final G League game
Williams logged 33 points (10-19 FG, 6-12 3Pt, 7-9 FT), six rebounds, two blocks, one assist and one steal in 33 minutes Wednesday in the G League Stockton Kings' 122-119 loss to the Memphis Hustle.
Williams missed some time near the end of the G League campaign due to an undisclosed issue, but he played in Stockton's final two regular-season contests and looked good in Wednesday's first-round playoff matchup. With the loss officially eliminating Stockton, Williams is expected to rejoin Sacramento ahead of its next contest Saturday in Houston.

Williams was one of two two-way players to miss Sunday's contest for an unidentified reason, but it's unclear if Williams would be available should Sacramento need the combo forward. Stockton has just two games remaining on the schedule, with the first taking place Thursday against South Bay.

Williams scored 25 points (7-11 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 8-9 FT) in the loss Friday to the Drive. he also posted three rebounds, two steals and an assist.
Five personal fouls likely led to the abbreviated playing time for Williams, who registered only 23 minutes off the bench. The two-way player has been one of the primary scorers for Stockton, but losses in four of the last five games might force the combo forward into the starting lineup.

Williams tallied 23 points (10-19 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-5 FT), eight rebounds, four assists and one steal in the 126-118 loss Wednesday to the Stars.
Stockton had only seven active players so it made sense that Williams put in 40 minutes of work Wednesday, particularly since the two-way player has hardly been utilized with the Kings. Williams is averaging 18.0 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 22 games on the G League level.

Kings' Troy Williams: Strong shooting for G League club
Williams scored 17 points (8-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 0-1 FT) and added one rebound and one block across 24 minutes Thursday in the G League Stockton Kings' 113-102 loss to the Agua Caliente Clippers.
Though he's a two-way player for Sacramento, the last 11 of Williams' appearances have come at the G League level. Over 12 outings for Stockton this season, Williams is averaging 17.3 points (on 45.9 percent shooting from the field), 7.2 boards, 1.8 steals and 1.4 assists in 26.5 minutes per game. While that's respectable production, it's nothing that will likely result in Williams receiving an extended role at the NBA level if he returns to the Kings at any point over the next few months.

Kings' Troy Williams: Won't be assigned to G League
Williams, due to the injuries of Iman Shumpert (hip) and Bogdan Bogdanovic (foot), will not be assigned to the G League on Wednesday. He will be available to face the Thunder.
The Kings need Williams in uniform Wednesday to help combat injuries. He's averaging 6.0 points and 2.9 rebounds in 15.7 minutes, and he saw 30 minutes during Sacramento's game Monday against the Timberwolves.

Williams was assigned to the G League on Wednesday, James Ham of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Williams had a chance at increased minutes in Monday's blowout loss to Minnesota, and he finished with six points, six rebounds, two blocks and two assists in 30 minutes. He'll now head down to Stockton, making his status unclear for the Kings' matchup with the Thunder on Wednesday night.

After being waived by the Pelicans on Wednesday, it appears that Williams will be landing a two-way deal with the Kings. The former Indiana standout will still need to clear waivers in order for this deal to be official however.

Williams has agreed to a deal with the New Orleans Pelicans, Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports reports.
Williams saw action in 21 games a season ago with the Rockets and the Knicks, posting averages of 6.3 points and 3.0 rebounds over 14.6 minutes. He will add depth at the wing for New Orleans.

Williams' contract he signed with the Knicks earlier this year was non-guaranteed, which made the forward expendable despite his impressive showing in summer league. Williams has made a couple NBA stops in his young career, but he has been unable to find a permanent fit. He'll likely latch onto another team before the start of training camp, but it'll be an uphill climb for Williams to make a team's final roster.

Knicks' Troy Williams: Produtive effort in Vegas Summer League debut
Williams tallied 17 points (7-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-4 FT), two rebounds, one assist and one block across 16 minutes during the Knicks' 91-89 win over the Hawks in a Las Vegas Summer League contest Saturday.
Williams' scoring total led the second unit and checked in second only to 2018 first-round pick Kevin Knox's on the night for the Knicks. The 23-year-old showed some promise last season -- which led to Williams inking a two-year contract in mid-March -- before a fractured jaw ended his season in early April. Williams is a versatile wing with a deft shooting touch, and he could certainly see some extended opportunity this coming season on a Knicks squad that figures to be devoid of serious postseason aspirations.

Knicks' Troy Williams: Out for season with fractured jaw
Williams fractured his jaw in the fourth quarter of Saturday's 115-109 loss to the Pistons and will be shut down for the remainder of the season, Tim Bontemps of The Washington Post reports.
Williams becomes the fourth Knicks player to be shut down for the season, joining Kristaps Porzingis (knee), Ron Baker (shoulder) and Joakim Noah (coach's decision). Since joining New York in late February, Williams has emerged as a key rotation player for head coach Jeff Hornacek, averaging 7.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 17.1 minutes per game over 17 contests with the club. His absence should open up more playing time for the likes of Lance Thomas, Damyean Dotson and Luke Kornet.

Knicks' Troy Williams: Pitches in 11 points in Saturday start
Williams registered 11 points (3-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one steal across 33 minutes in Saturday's 115-109 loss to the Pistons.
The second-year pro has been providing some serviceable scoring production off the bench on occasion, and he acquitted himself well in his opportunity with the first unit Saturday. Williams wrapped up March -- his most productive month of the season -- with six double-digit scoring efforts and averages of 7.6 points and 3.6 rebounds across 18.4 minutes. With the Knicks having nothing to play for over the last few games of the season, it's conceivable Williams continues to draw starts.
