Marcus Georges-Hunt: Scores 17 in loss to Mad Ants
Georges-Hunt supplied 17 points (6-12 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and three assists across 36 minutes in Saturday's 133-105 road loss to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.
The 6'6" small forward delivered an efficient stat line for Crustacean Nation, but he and his other teammates will need to hit the boards harder if they want to reverse their 1-3 record. Lacking a player over 6'8", every Red Claw must get busy in the paint if they want to avoid losses like this. Maine was out-rebounded 48 to 34 by Fort Wayne. The efficient shooting from MGH was a nice improvement for the forward who is shooting a rough 37 percent through four games.

Marcus Georges-Hunt: Set for unrestricted free agency
Georges-Hunt wasn't extended a qualifying offer and is set to become an unrestricted free agent, Michael Scotto of The Athletic reports.
Georges-Hunt played in a career-high 42 games with Minnesota this past season, but averaged just 5.3 minutes and was only a minor contributor. The Timberwolves added fellow wings Josh Okogie and Kieta Bates-Diop in last week's draft and will likely be looking to add some additional help once free agency opens July 1, so Georges-Hunt becomes expendable. He'll be free to sign anywhere he pleases, though he's not promised a guaranteed deal and could have to perform well during training camp to make a final roster elsewhere.

Marcus Georges-Hunt finished with 11 points (3-5 FG, 5-5 FT), two rebounds and two steals in 14 minutes during Saturday's 120-108 loss to Philadelphia.
Georges-Hunt has basically been out of the rotation for some time now but was able to see some garbage time minutes in this one. He has shown small glimpses of what he can do this season but given the rotations of the Wolves players, he is unlikely to do this again anytime soon. He still belongs on the waivers in all formats.

Timberwolves' Marcus Georges-Hunt: Out with illness Wednesday
Georges-Hunt will sit out Wednesday's game against the Cavaliers with an illnes, Jerry Zgoda of the Star Tribune reports.
Considering it's just an illness, this likely won't keep Georges-Hunt out for long and he could be back in the lineup as soon as Friday's matchup with the Bulls. Either way, Georges-Hunt is outside the Timberwolves' regular rotation, so his absence shouldn't have much of an impact for fantasy purposes.

Timberwolves' Marcus Georges-Hunt: Scores 12 points in Saturday's win
Georges-Hunt scored 12 points with three rebounds and two assists in 29 minutes in Saturday's win over Toronto.
Georges-Hunt played more than ten minutes in a game for just the third time this season as the T-Wolves were forced to utilize their bench more than normal with Jimmy Butler and Jamal Crawford sidelined with injuries. Although Hunt shot just 3-for-10 from the field, he showed a spark on defense. Georges-Hunt has upside if the T-Wolves have starters out for a significant length of time, but otherwise he'll likely languish on the bench given how infrequently head coach Tom Thibodeau uses his reserves.
