Bulls' Lonzo Ball: No timeline for return
Head coach Billy Donovan said Saturday that Ball's recovery from a right wrist sprain is not going well, but the team has not shut him down for the remainder of the season, Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Ball didn't join the team in Houston on Saturday for the start of its six-game road trip, and given Donovan's comments, the veteran guard can probably be ruled out for the final five contests of the trip. He'll continue to work on his conditioning while he remains in Chicago to rehab the wrist sprain, which has kept him out of action since March 2. With Ball and Josh Giddey (ankle) both sidelined, Coby White and Tre Jones should handle most of the ball-handling duties for the Bulls in the short term.
