  • Trail Blazers' Vit Krejci: Ready for Portland debut

Krejci (ankle) isn't listed on the injury report ahead of Tuesday's game against Phoenix. Krejci suffered a left ankle sprain shortly before being dealt from the Hawks to the Blazers, but he's evidently put the injury behind him. He'll presumably see playing time off the bench behind Shaedon Sharpe and Toumani Camara, though it remains to be seen how involved Krejci will be in his first appearance with Portland.

  • Trail Blazers' Vit Krejci: Traded to Portland

The Hawks traded Krejci (ankle) to the Trail Blazers on Sunday in exchange for Duop Reath (foot) and two future second-round picks, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. Krejci started against the Rockets on Thursday, posting nine points (4-7 FG), four rebounds, one assist and a steal in 27 minutes, but he was in street clothes due to an ankle injury during Saturday's loss in Indiana. Like the last few days, his role has been inconsistent all season, and with Zaccharie Risacher (knee) healthy again and Corey Kispert coming over in a trade, Krejci was going to be blocked for playing time in Atlanta. While Portland has a ton of wing depth, the Trail Blazers don't have many knockdown shooters, so Krejci, who's shot at least 40 percent from deep in three straight seasons, could carve out a role as a specialist once he moves past his ankle issue.

  • Hawks' Vit Krejci: Ruled out Saturday

Krejci (ankle) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Pacers. Krejci was a late addition to the injury report Saturday due to a left ankle sprain, and he'll miss his first game due to an injury this season. His next opportunity to play will come Tuesday against the Heat. Luke Kennard and Corey Kispert are candidates for a slight bump in minutes due to Krejci being sidelined.

  • Hawks' Vit Krejci: Late addition to injury report

Krejci is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Pacers due to a left ankle sprain. Krejci was a late addition to the injury report, which isn't a positive sign for his availability. The 25-year-old will likely be a game-time decision ahead of tipoff at 7:00 p.m. ET, and if he isn't cleared to suit up, Luke Kennard and Corey Kispert would be candidates for increased minutes.

  • Hawks' Vit Krejci: Running with first unit

Krejci is starting Thursday's game against the Rockets, Lachard Binkley of SI.com reports. Krejci will join the starting lineup with Zaccharie Risacher (knee), Jalen Johnson (calf) and Onyeka Okongwu (mouth) all ruled out for Atlanta. Krjeci started five consecutive games for the Hawks earlier in January and averaged 5.4 points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.0 steals in 21.8 minutes.

  • Hawks' Vit Krejci: Joins second unit

Krejci will come off the bench for Monday's game against the Bucks, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports. Krejci has been trending in the wrong direction for several weeks, so the Hawks will shake things up Monday. Corey Kispert is getting the starting nod with the team looking to deploy more shooting. However, as long as Kristaps Porzingis (Achilles) and Zaccharie Risacher (knee) remain sidelined, Krejci should have a role in Atlanta's rotation.

  • Hawks' Vit Krejci: Notches eight points

Krejci provided eight points (3-5 FG, 2-4 3Pt), one rebound, one assist and one block across 21 minutes during Thursday's 117-101 loss to the Trail Blazers. Although Krejci drew the start, the Hawks utilized a lot of smaller lineups with CJ McCollum playing 29 minutes off the bench with 20 points to his name. Krejci's fantasy appeal remains limited to deeper formats with averages of 7.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.6 three-pointers over his last eight games.

  • Hawks' Vit Krejci: Scoreless in spot start

Krejci notched zero points (0-8 FG, 0-7 3Pt), one assist, two blocks and two steals across 27 minutes during Friday's 110-87 win over Denver. Despite shifting into the starting lineup, Krejci failed to score, missing all eight of his shot attempts. With Zaccharie Risacher sidelined due to a knee issue, Krejci was given an opportunity to play starter-level minutes. His four defensive stats did somewhat salvage what was otherwise a disappointing night. Assuming Atlanta starts to get healthy bodies back on the floor in the coming games, Krejci should be viewed as nothing more than a potential three-point streaming option.

  • Hawks' Vit Krejci: Sees 19 minutes in win

Krejci recorded five points (2-5 FG, 1-3 3Pt), four rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal in 19 minutes during Wednesday's 117-100 victory over the Pelicans. The Hawks traded away Trae Young (quadriceps) on Wednesday, but they added CJ McCollum and Corey Kispert which could crowd things for Krejci. Krejci has had some solid outings in recent weeks, so it will be interesting to see what kind of role he carves out for the new-look Hawks.

  • Hawks' Vit Krejci: Starting Monday

Krejci will start against the Thunder on Monday, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports. With Trae Young (quadriceps), Jalen Johnson (illness) and Kristaps Porzingis (illness) all sidelined, Krejci will enter the starting five for just the second time this season. In his previous start during a loss to the Pistons on Nov. 18, the 25-year-old recorded nine points (3-9 FG, 3-8 3Pt), three rebounds and two assists in 36 minutes. Over his last five outings, Krejci has averaged 12.2 points and 2.0 rebounds in 22.2 minutes per game.

  • Hawks' Vit Krejci: Hits multiple triples again

Krejci closed Friday's 126-111 loss to the Heat with 11 points (4-9 FG, 3-7 3Pt), four rebounds and one block in 22 minutes. Krejci connected on at least three triples for the third straight game, although he added very little else, as per usual. While he has been a sporadic source of points off the bench, on the whole, Krejci hasn't been able to make the most of his opportunities. In 28 appearances, he is averaging just 10.6 points and 2.7 three-pointers in 23.6 minutes per game. At best, he can be utilized as a three-point streamer, if and when the situation arises.

  • Hawks' Vit Krejci: Drains six treys Sunday

Krejci recorded 20 points (6-10 FG, 6-10 3Pt, 2-3 FT) across 18 minutes off the bench during Sunday's 152-150 loss to Chicago. The fifth-year wing delivered some instant offense once again from the second unit Sunday, although he provided essentially no other production outside of his long-range shooting. It's the fourth time in 26 games this season that Krejci has scored at least 20 points, and the fifth time in the last seven games he's drained multiple three-pointers -- a stretch in which he's averaging 11.9 points, 3.1 threes, 2.3 boards, 1.1 assists and 1.0 steals in 24.7 minutes per contest.

  • Hawks' Vit Krejci: Lean run continues

Krejci notched three points (1-4 FG, 1-4 3Pt), two rebounds, one assist and one steal in 17 minutes during Monday's 99-98 loss to the Pistons. Krejci scored no more than five points for the third time in the past five games, continuing what has been an underwhelming stretch of offensive production. It appears that his playing time and associated fantasy value are almost entirely reliant on his shooting. In eight games over the past two weeks, he has averaged 8.5 points and 2.3 three-pointers in 25.5 minutes per contest. He should be viewed as nothing more than a three-point streaming option.

  • Hawks' Vit Krejci: Modest production in loss

Krejci supplied 10 points (4-7 FG, 2-4 3Pt), one rebound and three assists in 14 minutes during Tuesday's 132-113 loss to the Wizards. Krejci scored in double digits for just the second time in the past five games, albeit barely. Outside of some offensive explosions, Krejci has been mostly a non-factor thus far this season. Through 15 games, he has averaged just 10.5 points and 2.6 three-pointers in 23.4 minutes per contest, leaving him well outside the top 150 in standard leagues.

  • Hawks' Vit Krejci: Comes up short in start

Krejci produced nine points (3-9 FG, 3-8 3Pt), three rebounds and two assists across 36 minutes during Tuesday's 120-112 loss to the Pistons. Krejci moved into the starting lineup for the first time this season, replacing Zaccharie Risacher, who was ruled out due to a hip injury. While he did manage to log a season-high 36 minutes, it would appear as though his hot shooting has come to a temporary end. He has now scored 16 points in total over his past two games, going 6-for-16 from the floor.

  • Hawks' Vit Krejci: Starting sans Risacher

Krejci will start Tuesday's game against the Pistons. With Zaccharie Risacher (hip) sidelined, Krejci will get the starting nod for the first time this season. Over his last five appearances, the 25-year-old has averaged 16.6 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 25.8 minutes per contest.

  • Hawks' Vit Krejci: Drills six triples in win

Krejci finished Thursday's 132-122 win over the Jazz with 20 points (7-9 FG, 6-8 3Pt), one rebound, three assists and three steals over 32 minutes. Krejci couldn't miss early, as he dropped in a quick 17 points (6-6 FG, 5-5 3Pt) in his first 11 minutes of play. He's been in a nice groove over the past four games with averages of 19.0 points on 63.4 percent shooting to go with 2.5 assists and 4.8 treys per contest.

  • Hawks' Vit Krejci: Fails to score in loss

Krejci posted zero points (0-3 FG, 0-3 3Pt), four rebounds and two assists across 18 minutes during Friday's 109-97 loss to the Raptors. Krejci missed all three of his shot attempts, failing to score for the first time this season. Even at this early stage in the season, Atlanta is running with a relatively shallow rotation on most nights. Krejci appears to be considered a nightly piece at this stage, albeit an unimpactful one.

  • Hawks' Vit Krejci: Hits three in loss

Krejci provided three points (1-5 FG, 1-4 3Pt), two rebounds and one assist over 17 minutes during Sunday's 117-109 loss to the Cavaliers. Krejci does not appear to have a prominent role within Atlanta's rotation, even with the injury to Trae Young (knee) and the absence of Keaton Wallace (illness). Unless more injuries occur, Krejci will likely remain buried in the depth chart.
... See More ... See Less
  • Hawks' Vit Krejci: Ups offensive contributions in loss

Krejci totaled 13 points (4-10 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 2-3 FT), two rebounds, two steals and one assist across 22 minutes during Saturday's 117-100 loss to the Thunder. Krejci took advantage of extended minutes with several Hawks regulars sidelined, contributing across the board by hitting a trio of three-pointers and adding two steals. While he typically projects as a deeper reserve in Atlanta's rotation, he could continue to see meaningful opportunities if ankle injuries to Zaccharie Risacher and Jalen Johnson persist.
