Duren logged 14 points (6-7 FG, 2-3 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists and one block over 15 minutes during the Pistons' 131-109 win over the 76ers on Thursday.
Duren saw limited playing time due to foul trouble, but he was productive in the third quarter with nine points and six rebounds. Four of the five Pistons starters did not play in the fourth quarter, and despite playing just 15 minutes, Duren was able to record his 32nd double-double of the season, which is tied with Victor Wembanyama (ankle) for fifth most in the Association. Duren has averaged 21.9 points, 11.1 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.2 blocks and 0.8 steals over 27.2 minutes per game since the All-Star break.

The star big man has been asked to handle a bigger role on offense at times, and he hasn't disappointed. Duren returned following a two-game suspension, making light work of Chicago's underpowered frontcourt. It was a welcome sight for fantasy managers, with Duren scoring 26 points, the most he has put up since Dec 22. While the suspension was far from ideal, the extended break could end up being a positive when it comes to his playing time down the stretch. Now fully rested and refreshed, look for Duren to continue his breakout season as the Pistons push for the top seed in the Eastern Conference.

Pistons' Jalen Duren: Suspended for two games
Duren has been suspended for two games for his participation in an altercation during Monday's matchup with Charlotte, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Duren and teammate Isaiah Stewart were the two Pistons suspended following the scuffle that involved Miles Bridges and Moussa Diabate. However, Duren's suspension was the shortest out of the four. With Duren out for two games and Stewart sidelined for seven, Paul Reed could take the reins at center while the two are unavailable, with Isaac Jones and Tolu Smith potentially seeing playing time.
