Jordan Bell: Out for season with knee injury
The Indiana Mad Ants announced Monday that Bell suffered a left knee injury during Friday's G League game against the Iowa Wolves and will undergo season-ending surgery at a later date.
After exploring international opportunities this summer, Bell opted to return to the Mad Ants for a second consecutive campaign. He posted eight points and eight rebounds during his G League season debut but played only 13 seconds before suffering the injury against Iowa. Bell hasn't played in an NBA regular-season game since 2021-22 with Chicago and has made only 36 appearances since the 2018-19 campaign.

Jordan Bell: Headed overseas
Bell has agreed to a contract buyout with Indiana's G League affiliate to pursue an international opportunity, Scott Agness of FieldhouseFiles.com reports.
Bell wraps up his G League campaign with a 21-point, nine-rebound, seven-assist showing in Friday's win over Raptors 905. Agness notes that Bell was "often praised by teammates for his leadership" and that Indiana was pleasantly surprised to have him back with the squad as opposed to pursuing international opportunities earlier in the campaign. Bell compiled 148 steals-plus-blocks across 39 appearances, representing a turnover-forcing machine while grading in the 67th percentile league-wide with 0.952 points per possession.

Jordan Bell: Let go by Pacers
The Pacers waived Bell on Saturday.
Bell was waived by Indiana after signing an Exhibit 10 contract last Saturday. The 28-year-old big man will likely join the Pacers' G League affiliate, the Indiana Mad Ants unless he is signed by another team.

The Pacers signed Bell to an Exhibit 10 contract Saturday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.
Bell spent last season with the Guangzhou Loong Lions in the Chinese Basketball Association. Bell last made an NBA appearance with the Bulls in 2021, grabbing one rebound and one steal in one game. He will likely compete for a two-way roster spot with the Pacers.
