Cavaliers' Luke Travers: Cracks rotation in Sunday's win
Travers logged three points (1-3 FG, 1-3 3Pt), two rebounds, two steals and one assist in 15 minutes off the bench in Sunday's 120-105 win over the Clippers.
After sitting out in his most recent game with the G League's Cleveland Charge on Saturday for rest purposes, the two-way player joined the parent club for Sunday's contest while the Cavaliers were without six players in the front end of a back-to-back set. Thanks to the many missing players, Travers was included in the rotation and ended up seeing his most minutes of the season with Cleveland. Lonzo Ball (knee) is a good bet to return to action for Monday's game in Toronto, but if Darius Garland rests and if three or four of Sam Merrill (hand), Craig Porter (hamstring), Jarrett Allen (finger) and Max Strus (foot) remain out, Travers will have a good chance at sticking in the rotation for the second game in a row.

Cavaliers' Luke Travers: Gets opportunity Wednesday
Travers notched four points (1-5 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, two blocks and one steal in 12 minutes during Wednesday's 130-116 victory over the Heat.
With Donovan Mitchell (rest), Evan Mobley (rest), Darius Garland (toe) and Jaylon Tyson (concussion) unavailable, Travers logged one of his largest minute totals of the season. He's likely to return to the fringes of the rotation when the starters are at full strength.

Cavaliers' Luke Travers: Signs two-way pact with Cleveland
Travers signed a two-way contract with the Cavaliers on Tuesday, Paul Garcia of The Spot Up Shot reports.
Travers will return to the Cavaliers on a two-way deal for the second consecutive season. The 23-year-old swingman appeared in 12 regular-season outings for the Cavaliers in 2024-25, averaging 1.0 points and 1.7 rebounds across 7.3 minutes per contest. He also played in 21 games for the club's G League affiliate, the Cleveland Charge, during which he averaged 17.0 points, 9.9 rebounds, 7.0 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.2 blocks across 34.0 minutes per game.

Cavaliers' Luke Travers: Triple-doubles in G League win
Travers supplied 16 points (5-10 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 11 rebounds, 10 assists, one steal and one block across 28 minutes during Wednesday's 120-113 G League win over the Rip City Remix.
Travers recorded game-high marks in rebounds and assists en route to his third triple-double across 15 G League outings. The two-way swingman has seen very little playing time at the NBA level of late, and he is averaging 18.1 points, 9.8 rebounds, 7.1 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.0 blocks across 34.7 minutes per contest.

Cavaliers' Luke Travers: Triple-double in G League win
Travers racked up 25 points (9-17 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 18 rebounds, 10 assists, one steal and two blocks across 33 minutes Thursday in the G League Cleveland Charge's 130-116 win over the Raptors 905.
Travers recorded a triple-double for the third time this season on the G League level, continuing to prove his worth as an all-around threat on the basketball court for the Charge. The 23-year-old forward is averaging 19.0 points, 11.0 rebounds, 10.0 assists and 2.0 blocks per game during the 2024-25 campaign.

Cavaliers' Luke Travers: Moves past ankle injury
Travers (ankle) played six minutes and recorded zero points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt), one rebound and two turnovers in Monday's 128-107 win over the Timberwolves.
The two-way player had been out of action at both the NBA and G League level since Dec. 13 due to an ankle injury before he suited up for the Cleveland Charge in Saturday's 120-107 loss to the Westchester Knicks, playing 27 minutes while finishing with 13 points, 10 assists, four rebounds and two blocks. He then rejoined the parent club ahead of Monday's game, and he surprisingly checked into the contest with 1:40 left in the first quarter, despite having not been a part of head coach Kenny Atkinson's rotation all season. Travers went back to the bench to begin the second quarter and then didn't see the floor again until the final 4:45 of the fourth quarter. He's likely to make most of his future appearances with the Cavaliers in garbage-time scenarios.

Cavaliers' Luke Travers: Inks two-way deal
Travers signed a two-way contract with the Cavaliers on Wednesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
Travers was selected by Cleveland with the 56th pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, but he's been playing with Melbourne in the NBL in recent years. He'll have a chance to compete for a role in the NBA during the 2024-25 season on a deal that will allow him to move between the G League and parent club with ease. He averaged 12.0 points and 7.6 rebounds in 26.3 minutes per game over 25 appearances with Melbourne last year.
