Williams signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Hawks on Wednesday, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.
Williams will now have the opportunity to claim a two-way roster spot at Hawks training camp this fall. The 27-year-old big man played 31 regular-season games for the G League's Sioux Falls Skyforce a year ago, finishing with impressive averages of 16.1 points, 10.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.4 blocks in 27.3 minutes per contest.

Heat's Malik Williams: Joins Miami
Williams and the Heat agreed to an Exhibit 10 contract Wednesday, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
This transaction brings Miami's roster up to 20 players, one short of the maximum amount allowed. Williams had a small stint with Toronto in 2023-24, making seven regular-season appearances with averages of 2.7 points and 5.4 rebounds. He's likely to end up in the G League.

Raptors' Malik Williams: Re-ups with Toronto
Williams re-signed Saturday with the Raptors on a second 10-day contract, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Williams' initial 10-day deal expired earlier Saturday, but he quickly reached agreement with Toronto on a new deal to ensure that he'll be available for Sunday's season finale in Miami. Over the course of his first week and a half in the NBA, Williams appeared in six games (two starts) and averaged 2.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and 0.7 blocks in 15.8 minutes per contest. He'll likely serve as the top backup to starting center Kelly Olynyk on Sunday.
