Wizards' Jordan Poole: Turns in strong final line
Poole ended Friday's 129-117 loss to the Hawks with 22 points (6-14 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 6-7 FT), five rebounds, five assists and two steals across 29 minutes.
Poole wasn't able to top his 42-point night Wednesday against the Spurs, but he posted yet another strong scoring night and has drilled 10 combined triples in his last two games. He also appears to be back on track as a distributor after a slow start to November, averaging 5.7 assists over his last three appearances.

Wizards' Jordan Poole: Lands season-high 42 points
Poole ended Wednesday's 139-130 loss to the Spurs with 42 points (15-22 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 6-6 FT), two rebounds, six assists and two steals in 33 minutes.
Poole was on the front foot from the opening tip, ending with a season-high 42 points despite another loss. It's been a fantastic start to the season for Poole, coming off a forgettable campaign in 2023-24. Across 10 games, he is averaging 22.2 points, 4.4 assists, 2.3 steals and 3.6 three-pointers in 30.6 minutes per game.

Wizards' Jordan Poole: Poor shooting once again
Poole had 11 points (5-14 FG, 1-5 3Pt), five rebounds, six assists and four steals in 34 minutes during Monday's 107-92 loss to the Rockets.
Poole is expected to operate as one of the Wizards' go-to players on offense on a regular basis, but that's hard to do when he's shooting just 42.6 percent from the field. Poole is averaging 20.0 points per game and should remain a capable player in most formats, but his lack of efficiency certainly limits his upside in some leagues, particularly the category-based ones.

Wizards' Jordan Poole: Struggles with shot Friday
Poole contributed 10 points (3-10 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and one assist across 23 minutes during Friday's 128-104 loss to Memphis.
Poole posted a season-low mark in scoring, and while the shooting woes aren't anything new for him, he appeared to be trending in the right direction prior to this contest. Poole has struggled a bit with the consistency in the efficiency department, but he's still shooting 43.5 percent from the field in seven contests this season. That's a respectable mark, particularly when considering his tendencies and the fact that he averages 15.4 shots per game.

Wizards' Jordan Poole: Blocks four shots
Poole notched 24 points (8-20 FG, 2-10 3Pt, 6-7 FT), one rebound, three assists, four blocks and three steals in 34 minutes during Monday's 125-112 loss to the Warriors.
Poole posted a career-high four blocks in the loss, his 10th career outing with multiple blocks in a single game. Fantasy managers should be thrilled by the early returns from Poole this season as he continues to run the show for Washington. Through six games, he's averaging 22.5 points, 5.0 assists, 1.2 rebounds, 2.8 steals, 1.2 blocks and 4.0 three-pointers.

Wizards' Jordan Poole: Scores 21 points vs. Miami
Poole contributed 21 points (8-18 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three assists, two blocks and two steals in 31 minutes during Saturday's 118-98 loss to the Heat.
Poole has scored at least 20 points in four of the first five games of the regular season, and he finished Saturday's contest as the Wizards' second-leading scorer behind Bilal Coulibaly (22). Through the first five games of the 2024-25 regular season, Poole is averaging 22.2 points, 5.4 assists, 1.2 rebounds and 2.8 steals over 30.4 minutes per contest.

Wizards' Jordan Poole: Near double-double vs. Atlanta
Poole finished Wednesday's 133-120 win over the Hawks with 24 points (6-17 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 8-8 FT), nine assists, three rebounds and three steals over 32 minutes.
Poole was the second-leading scorer for the Wizards on Wednesday behind Bilal Coulibaly (27), and the former was one assist shy from registering his first double-double of the 2024-25 regular season. He's connected on four or more threes in all four of his outings this year, and he's shooting 57.1 percent from beyond the arc on 8.8 3PA/G during that span. Poole and the Wizards will look to extend their two-game win streak Saturday against Jimmy Butler and the Heat.

Wizards' Jordan Poole: Efficient from three Monday
Poole ended Monday's 121-119 win over the Hawks with 26 points (9-17 FG, 6-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound, five assists and two steals over 33 minutes.
Poole has eclipsed the 25-point mark in two of his three appearances this season, and he seems firmly entrenched as the Wizards' primary offensive option just three games into the season. The main problem with Poole lies in his lack of efficiency, but in formats where field-goal percentages do not matter, he's been excellent in the first week of the campaign.

Wizards' Jordan Poole: Scores 26 in loss to Boston
Poole finished with 26 points (9-17 FG, 6-11 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound, four assists, one block and four steals across 32 minutes during Thursday's 122-102 loss to Boston.
Poole caught fire early on and scored 17 points in the first quarter, but the Celtics held him in check the rest of the way. It was a strong showing for the guard, who's now operating as a floor general for the Wizards. Even though one game is not enough to draw solid conclusions, Poole seems to be the one that will set the tone offensively for Washington, which could lead to him hovering around the 20-point mark regularly going forward.

Wizards' Jordan Poole: Leads Wizards in scoring
Poole finished with 16 points (6-10 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), a rebound and five assists across 18 minutes in Friday's 118-117 preseason win over the Knicks.
Poole was one of five players who scored in double digits for the Wizards in this preseason finale, though perhaps the most impressive tidbit out of this outing is that he needed only 18 minutes to do so. Poole figures to operate as one of the Wizards' primary options on offense in 2024-25, another year in which the franchise will operate under a rebuilding status.

Wizards' Jordan Poole: Scores team-high 13 points
Poole finished with 13 points (5-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, an assist and a steal across 23 minutes in Monday's 131-92 preseason loss to the Nets.
Poole was the leading scorer for the Wizards on Monday, though that also shows how bad the team was on the offensive end of the court. Poole is expected to be one of the Wizards' few reliable fantasy options regularly, and while it remains to be seen how he'll play at point guard, it's worth noting the scoring should be there one way or another. After all, Poole has averaged at least 17.0 points per game in his last three seasons.

Wizards' Jordan Poole: Rough shooting night Friday
Poole managed three points (1-7 FG, 0-6 3PT, 1-2 FT), two rebounds, two assists and two steals in 22 minutes during Friday's preseason win over the Raptors.
Poole was ice cold from the floor, missing all six of his three-point attempts. He is slated to be the starting point guard to open the season, providing him a relatively safe floor, assuming you can land him in the eighth or ninth round of drafts. The scoring could be inconsistent, as we saw here, but he should have a long leash given the Wizards are again unlikely to prioritize winning this season.

Wizards' Jordan Poole: Leads starters with 16 points
Poole finished Sunday's 125-98 preseason loss to the Raptors with 16 points (5-9 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six assists and one rebound over 22 minutes.
Poole was the leading scorer for the Wizards on Sunday and put up the second-highest point tally in the game behind the Raptors' RJ Barrett (shoulder). Poole had a volatile 2023-24 campaign, and he finished his first season with the Wizards averaging 17.4 points on 41.3 percent shooting (including 32.6 percent from three on 7.2 3PA/G), 4.4 assists, 2.7 rebounds and 1.1 steals across 30.1 minutes per game. Poole is slated to serve as Washington's primary ballhandler to start the 2024-25 season.

Wizards' Jordan Poole: Starting season as point guard
Poole will be Washington's starting point guard and primary ballhandler to start the season, Bijan Todd of Monumental Sports Network reports.
Poole, coach Brian Keefe and General Manager Will Dawkins collaborated to assess the best way to maximize what the 25-year-old can bring to the Wizards' backcourt. Poole spent 46.1 percent of his on-ball touches working out of pick-and-roll last season, but he mustered a subpar 47.4 effective field-goal percentage on those possessions -- ranking 61st out of 62 qualifying ball handlers. Washington is attempting to rehabilitate Poole's efficiency as he enters Year 2 of a four-year, $128 million contract. On an individual level, Poole's total performance improved after the All-Star break, as he averaged 20.9 points and 5.8 assists while shooting 43.4 percent from the field and 35.9 percent on 8.9 threes per game across 26 regular-season contests.

Wizards' Jordan Poole: Participates in first camp practice
Poole (illness) was a full participant during Tuesday's practice, Josh Robbins of The Athletic reports.
Poole's first season in Washington didn't begin well, and he was ultimately moved out of the starting lineup for a couple of weeks. However, the benching appeared to light a fire under him, and he finished strong, averaging 20.8 points, 5.8 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 1.1 steals over his final 27 regular-season appearances. Poole missed the final two games of the campaign due to an illness, but as expected, that won't impact him to start the 2024-25 campaign.
